Love the strap that is very comfortable, easy to adjust and removable to wash or replace.I don't see much improvement for running as Coros Pace 3 watch is already pretty accurate, but it is a much better option for strength training where the watch can be inaccurate and restricts some movement.One star off because it doesn't work as standalone.I read that there's no hardware limitation so hope Coros add this feature with future update and that would make this perfect 5 stars product.

I was hoping to use the heart monitor for climbing as wearing a watch is super cumbersome. But came to realize after downloading the app and attempting to use the band, that it wouldn’t work?! I also read some reviews claiming that the band could pair with a Garmin watch. But it won’t pair with mine. So I guess I’ll just cut my losses and perhaps get a Coros watch in the future.

My Coros Heart Rate monitor arrived today! It’s everything the write up said it would be. I’ve used it for one bicycle Zwift workout. It’s very comfortable to wear and the data on Strava looks smooth. The Lack’O buttons will take a little getting accomplished to, but I can handle it. Of course I can’t comment on battery life yet, but I’m a happy exercise fanatic! And contrary to an earlier review, you don’t need a Coros watch!
This is a great piece of kit. I love the fact that I can wear it on my upper arm It feels secure on my long runs and it's not noticeable at all. It also means I can wear long sleeves and put my Garmin over the top of my jacket as the HRM in the watch is deactivated by the COROS and so doesn't need to be next to my skin! My arms and hands can stay warm and dry. I also feel that the stats are more accurate, although I would need to wear if for longer to see more numbers over time to be able to say this for sure. I'm actually enjoying my low HR training now as I have something to focus on rather than the monotony of running for a long time, very slowly!
Compatible Bluetooth with most of the watches but does not work with ANT Bluetooth technology.
I was looking for a minimalist heart rate monitor, but that is not at all what this device is. It is an accessory for your existing (COROS) watch and is worn on the bicep. I assume that this is to give you a more accurate heart rate than the watch alone. You cannot use it with just your phone and the COROS app - you have to have a watch (or similar device) as well.It may be a great tool in it's own right, but it's not at all what I thought I was buying.
I tried all the alternatives on the market, and I don't manage to feel comfortable with a chest strap, even after several weeks of trying. I stumbled upon this alternative, and it's perfect. I use it for trail running and cross-country ski, and it's both convenient and precise. Kudos!
The Coros HR is a heart rate monitor that is comfortable (you may forget to take it off), starts without buttons, is accurate, and has a super long battery life. Coros claims 30 hours between charges. I’ve used mine more than an hour a day for 20 days! Highly recommend this piece of kit!
Was not happy with the wrist HR so got this after hearing high marks for it. It definitely doesn’t disappoint as the heart rate is spot on and picks up changes as I’m going uphill it downhill. Would definitely recommend!
