Very nice of corsair to release this as a separate thing. This is great for giving your build a little more flashiness. I had a little issue with the installation process but I managed to get it to work just by pushing it in a little harder.

Very easy to install although the USB Y splitter cable can be a bit tricky to route. Very easy to control the screen content which is excellent. Very happy with my purchase!

I wanted to see what temperature my processor was running at. As I’d already purchased a Corsair Capellix cooler this upgrade made sense.This was on sale elsewhere at double the price Scan were advertising it for. Even so, for the money I would like the whole unit to have felt more solid and the connection to the bottom part of the cooler to feel more positive that it does. It needs quite a firm push to connect properly with the bottom block.Those gripes aside I really like the cooler. It integrates well with the rest of the Corsair fans and RAM in my case. Amazing. Took minutes install and had hours of fun changing the display, as it was pre order i had to wait but it still came 4 days earier than expected. Brilliant service and item.
It does what it's supposed to do and setup is pretty quick and easy. Has a ring of light that is customizable like their fans and within an LCD screen with 480x480 res. Make sure all the plugs are fully seated if you are getting an error. I thought I had fully plugged it into the commander core, but it had to be pushed in further, and then there were no more issues. They have some stock images or gifs to choose from, or you can select your own. There is also some ability to resize your image/gif to fit how you want it to or if it is too big or small. The display can also display readouts for info about your pc, but that isn't what I was interested in since there's other software for that.
The display is crisp and has an awesome viewing angle. Updates quickly and was a breeze to setup. Just turn off your PSU, plug wires in (being extra careful to seat the 24 pin cable all the way in) and your set. Setting up on icue was easy too.
The screen is showing a red exclamation mark since i installed it + the cooler is not showing in icue though pump is functioning and temps are normal, tried everything possible as suggested in the corsair website unfortunately nothing works. I am not sure might be a defective unit. I have seen online many people with the same issue. Would not recommend the product for now until corsair fixes the issue.
The item itself is pretty cool and the software for this is great in my opinion and a GIF of my cat and have that looped on it.I have had problems since I’ve had it thou, took 4 attempts to get it even working and still now it tells me there is a cpu fan error, even thou everything is working. Because of this when I boot up my pc it won’t boot. I have to reset my pc, where it takes me into the bios and I have to boot from thereI believe there is just a firmware problem as it’s a new’ish product. I’ve tried to get in touch with Corsair but to reply so far
Works well. Only need 1 internal usb now. No more y splitter. The 1 internal usb is needed to power the unit.
