Bought this for a nephew a few months ago in March 2022, because it had a minor discount. My nephew just returned on Labor day 2022, from active duty and opened his present so that he can start building his gaming PC.When he opened it and started reviewing the contents, we noticed that the "manual" was missing (keep in mind that this was bought as a NEW item and the item was never advertised as an open item). Then as we started to install the 3 fans onto the cooler, we noticed that the screws were not fitting the fans-onto-the-cooler holes...and that's when we noticed that the "entire cooler Frame" was bent on one side.So now this makes me think that by 1, not including a "users manual" and 2, having a bent cooler frame - This item was most likely an open item ... MoreBought this for a nephew a few months ago in March 2022, because it had a minor discount. I've been a loyal customer since 2001 (more then 20yrs) and have spent thousands and thousand of dollar$ on many tech items throughout the years.I don't need a refund, I need a working unit. This was a present for my military service active-duty nephew. I will go in person to try to correct this mess and ask for a NEW working replacement.(( to my fellow retail consumers: I will be following up on this review as things progress.Cheers)).

It was a lot more challenging to install than a traditional CPU cooler, but this cooler is far better, both in terms of cooling capabilities and general coolness factor. A couple things worth noting from my experience installing this into my PC:1. The connector that goes to the CPU fan header only has one wire. This is intentional. The cooler works fine.2. Make extra sure you double check all the plugs, especially the ones that go to the control unit. When I installed mine, one cable came unplugged as I was sealing up the back of the case. This unplugged cable prevented the cooler from functioning, and if my motherboard hadn't alterted me in the bios that the CPU temperature was rapidly rising, I wouldn't have known anything was wrong. It took a bit of fiddling, but once everything was properly connected the cooler worked flawlessly.Aside from that, there really isn't that much else to note. The cooler performs really well (especially to me, since this is the first AIO cooler I've ever used). There are plenty of customization options for the lighting and the screen. It's an all-around dream to have set up in my PC, and I don't regret spending the extra $100 to have a screen on my cooler even though the PC sits under my desk at an angle where I can never really see the screen. Someday when I have a different room or desk, this PC is going to sit proudly in a place where its glory is on display for all to see.

Setup is about as easy as it gets for an AIO water cooler. It took me a while to figure out how to fit the radiator into the top of my XPG Battlecruiser but after moving the back fan down and installing it while metal plate was already in the case, it worked. The fans flickered and turned off when I did a first boot but downloading and using the iCUE software fixed them quickly. Very easy to use. The LCD display showing the temp/whatever you want is another cherry on top.I was greatly anticipating this cooler as my previous aftermarket fan was letting my CPU get to 90-100C while playing games like Forza Horizon 5. Now, with this beast, my max temps while playing the same game are 50-60C. It literally cut my temps in half. I can't recommend this AIO cooler enough. ... MoreSetup is about as easy as it gets for an AIO water cooler. This was just one of the components I bought for a new build (Asus ROG 670-E, I9-12900). Unboxing was pristine, it was obviously a new unit. No issues with the installation, except I did note that the CPU fan cable (single pin) seems awfully flimsy. At first boot I was elated to see a good post; all looked good. LCD showed a nice 29c temperature. Booted again from a Windows USB, installed Windows Pro, going thru several of those boot processes. Downloaded Asus software (Crate) and then the ICue software. Shut the system down for a minute or so, then did a full power-on; posted fine, but got the dreaded red triangle. Was not too concerned until I noticed the fans quickly starting to ramp up. Was not too concerned until I noticed the fans quickly starting to ramp up. Checked via Asus Crate and saw my CPU temps quickly rising. Once it hit 70+c and rising I shut it down, Booted again, same thing. Booted again but just entered the BIOS. With no load temps seem to stay at 30-31c. Gently touching the pump assembly, I feel no vibration at all. Also, no warm air coming from the radiator (top mount as exhaust). I would think I should at least feel some vibration from the pump, but nothing. Touching the hoses and I don't feel anything. Totally uninstalled, even watched an unboxing video so I could see how to get it all back in the box nicely. BB was great about it, but not having one in stock it had to be ordered, so the build stays unfinished for a few more days. Praying I just got a defective unit, and the replacement fixes my issues. I'll update after the new one arrives.
Switched to this product after my dual fan setup wasn’t enough to keep my new processor cool. It made me nervous at first because the pump wouldn’t start and my CPU temp jumped to 100°C instantly, so I rebooted and it’s been working fine ever since. Super easy installation, I heard a lot of good things about it from my friends and other reviews. The screen is customizable and really neat to use. CPU temperatures lower than ever, hovering around 40-41°C under load. The only reason I didn’t give this product 5 stars was because of the iCUE software. Corsair needs to release an update that allows you to rotate the orientation of the screen. I had to install mine a certain way because of space issues and it caused my screen to be placed in the wrong orientation. Here's the deal - it's finicky. What do I mean? I mean that, for the most part, it works great, looks absolutely gorgeous, and does a good job cooling a CPU. But setup is a mess, especially if you're an existing iCUE user with v3 of iCUE installed..(PROTIP, UNINSTALL IT BEFORE INSTALLING THE COOLER). You need v4 of iCUE to use this system properly.Physical installation is easy and typical of Corsair's AIOs, so there is nothing to be concerned about there. Take GREAT care in connecting the ribbon cable to the controller, you'll understand why when you do it. It takes some pressure to push it in, and you need to push it all the way in.Assuming this is brand new to your system and you don't have any other Corsair or iCUE stuff on your PC, you'll likely have a ... MoreHere's the deal - it's finicky. Amazing AIO upgrade, I've been a fan of Corsiar AIO units for my last three builds. This one is a bit over the top in terms of need/cost for me, but dang it's worth it! I just purchsed it to protect an i9-13900K CPU, and the legendary Corsair AIO performance coupled with the sweet customizable LED screen makes the build look top shelf. I've had Corsair producst for quite some time (AIOs, RAM modules) and have had their iCUE software on my builds as well. It is a pretty nice intuitive software suite that works great in understanding and controlling both the temperature of your machine as well as the LED capacities. My fourth Corsair AIO cooler over 10 years, it's never let me down and has fundamentally provided the lowest temps regardless of what I throw at it.
I like the aio, and the screen is great. It cools pretty well, I have an aggressive fan curve set and a 7700k. Using 90c limit PBO on my new 7700x it keeps it in the 60s-70s while gaming. Benchmarking it jumps up to close to or at the 90c thermal limit, but the amd 7000 series runs hot with any cooler. I haven’t run into the red exclamation mark issue with the screen like others have. I just keep the software and firmware up to date. I also don’t run icue while gaming and use the hardware screen option. The one pretty major issue I have with this aio is coil wine/pump noise. When I first got it set up it didn’t have the loud high pitch squeal at all while running the pump with the quiet setting. When I first got it set up it didn’t have the loud high pitch squeal at all while running the pump with the quiet setting. I tested it with the extreme pump setting and that’s when it starting the loud noise. Even after switching back to quiet the noise won’t go away… I don’t know if swapping it to extreme caused the noise or if it would have happened either way over time, but I would recommend leaving it set to quiet to be safe. There was only a 1-2c temp difference with the higher pump speed anyways. Thankfully I keep my pc under my desk so the coil whine/pump noise isn’t really audible unless I’m near the computer. Overall it’s a solid cooler with a nice screen and good performance, but you may have the loud pump noise issue. If you look at the picture, just know that the screen looks way better in person and it was hard to capture a good picture that wasn’t oversaturated.
The cooler works mediocre at best for the newest generation of AMD cpu's. Idle around the 50's, hitting 70c while playing an easy game like League of Legends that can run on a toaster. I posted on the Corsair forums about this issue and they completely refuse to acknowledge it, despite man complaints on the forum about this.I placed a ticket with Corsair and after 2 weeks, I still have not received a reply from t hem about the issue and I was outside of my ... MoreThe cooler works mediocre at best for the newest generation of AMD cpu's. Doesn't cool a 5800x as well as the MSI Meg 240 cooler. Also the commander pro controller isn’t a full version as retail. It doesn’t have the 2 extra usb headers or RGB controller headers. Also it will recognize the ML fans that come with the kit. But not the LL or QL fans as they advertise. Fan curves are set by % and not RPM with this controller. This radiator has to be mounted above the pump/water block with this AIO. There is no res space on the rad for that little bit of air in the loop for heat expansion. So be sure you can top mount the radiator or be repaired to replace the AIO often. The screen is pretty but I’m about to go back to custom loop because I’m more of a function over form guy. It only looks pretty till it kills your cpu.I do have air coolers ... MoreDoesn't cool a 5800x as well as the MSI Meg 240 cooler. Also the commander pro controller isn’t a full version as retail.
