This is a wonderful product. According to Dr. Sam Bunting, when using retinoids, one should buffer with Niacinimide, as such I chose this product, due to the non- irritating aloe vera vehicle that the brand uses and the moderate potency. Many of these ingredients may otherwise irritate my skin, however, this brand's formulation works well. There is no scent, size and quality quite satisfying. the scent ,quality, size and packaging is superb. i think this is good benefit for the age 20 and above as a beginner to skin care. especially with the acne prone or oily skin. i have a hormonal acne. so i really love products with niacinamide. but the composition of this product niacinamide-arbutin is the best. its been 3 weeks been using this and Im so inlove with it. i used this mostly every night and sometimes on the day. its so gentle even to my sensitive skin. i think no problem on how frequently u used this..u can uae every day. my concern only in day time..my thick suncreen dont blend with this product but my other sunscreen blends well. so u need to check what sunscreen best to blend with this.

In terms of texture it gives you nice slip when applying it across your face, and it dries down quick. It's not scented as far as I can tell, and it hasn't caused any rashes or breakouts on my sensitive skin. I only rated it three stars because it doesn't really do anything for my hyperpigmentation or acne spots (the niacinamide), and I don't like how lightweight it is. It feels like nothing is on my skin, and for some that might be good, but for me, since my skin is on the drier side, I need something a little heavier. If you want this to layer under moisturizing sunscreen, or you live in a hotter humid climate, I would recommend, but if you're looking for a heavier serum or something to give just a boost of hydration, I would buy something else.

I had better results with a 5% Vitamin C-derivative serum. B-arbutin is not as fast-acting as alpha arbutin. Super sticky when layering with other products. You have to wait a while for it to dry or it can pill. Sinks in nicely if it’s straight onto the skin though, or layering over super lightweight products—switched it to my morning routine after a minimalist essence and two-ingredient antioxidant product. I have very mixed feelings about it. I wanted to try it for my post-acne hyperpigmentation and I don't think it's effective. It made my skin very irritated and red at first (I patch-tested it first and it was alright). I believe it happened because of the combination with other products. After I backed down on combining it with other active ingredients, the irritation was less severe, however, it still made my skin itch. Would not be buying it again, unfortunately.The consistency is runny, it doesn't have any fragrance, smells medicinal.
I have bought other products from Cos de BAHA and what I like the most about them is the simple and concise formulae they have.I have been using it for about two weeks, so I can't say for sure my dark spots have completely vanished, but my complexion looks brighter. The components also help moisturize the skin, so you don't need a hyaluronic acid serum to complement, for example, also it's unscented, I assume it's suitable for sensitive skin. The texture is sticky but not uncomfortable, two drops are perfectly enough for face and neck.
This product has beta-arbutin, the low quality arbutin.Both alpha and beta forms of arbutin suppress melanin production, but studies have shown alpha-arbutin is more than 10 times stronger than this one.Anyway, both arbutin break down to hydroquinone, which is great for evening out and brightening skin tone, lightening darkened areas, and the appearance of scars caused by melanin. Which is fine if you have darker skin type prone to scarring with dark spots due to melanin.Can also be used on darker areas like dark circles on the eyes, dark melanin areas on the elbows, armpits and groins.Does not work if you have scars but a fair pale skin tone.Although has nacinamide on it, you might get improvement from it instead.
