I absolutely love these sunglasses! I have sensitive eyes and love doing outdoor activities. I’ve been using cheaper sunglasses, but they didn’t have the features of rubberized non-slip nose and ear surfaces. I was constantly pushing my sunglasses up during activities.Driving on bright sunny days would sometimes give me headaches. These sunglasses buffer the brightness.Did I mention they are cute? So cute!And I love how sturdy these are. The 580p lenses are great. I’m not worried about scratching the mirrored coating.Excellent sunglasses.

I own a pair of Inlets and Cheecas. I love the fit of the cheecas but they're getting older and I was looking for something a little more feminine. I bought the beautiful Waterwoman glasses but they were too narrow for my head unfortunately. I landed on the Vela after size research and reading reviews. I am SO HAPPY with these glases! They're my favorite ever. Super lightweight, the rubber nose pads, amazing ear pieces that dont squeeze and are super comfy. They also sit on my head without falling off. PERFECTION.

I love these sunglasses! I didn't notice that they don't "wrap" at all, although it is plain to see in the photos! I thought the gap at the sides would bother me since I have been wearing Jose's which warp, but it is very minor - they fit so closely on my head. Love the color, and that when I am looking out through them I can notice the pretty teal color on the inside of the frame as well. I debated getting "blue" but the color is not "loud" at all due to the matte finish - so I feel like I treated myself and got a fancy pair of sunglasses! And of course, they have the great polarization and clarity of a Costa lens - I work with dolphins at a sanctuary in the Keys and polarized sunglasses are a must! Love these glasses!! Along with looking good and being lightweight, the lens are incredibly clear. It's as if you aren't wearing glasses at all; yet, so comfortable to wear in the bright sun. I've wanted to buy them for awhile . . . not used to buying good sunglasses . . . and finally took the plunge. So glad I did!!
I love these sunglasses. Perfect for offshore fishing and just riding on the boat. They fit perfectly, have rubber-like pieces by the ears and on the nose pads so they stay put perfectly. And for those of us who push them up on our head, no hair pulling and they stay put there as well, regardless of what I’m doing. Love love live them.
Of course the fit is perfect as always with Costa but I was disappointed with the color. The picture gives it a much more distinct striped look however it looks almost solid grey unless your are in the bright sunlight. I would have returned them but the cost to ship and turn around time was not worth it. I'll just get another pair and use these as a back up pair. My first time ordering on line and probably my last. Lesson learned. Still a Costa fan, Always a Costa fan!
I love these sunglasses!! They fit perfectly and are comfortable. This is the first time I have purchased Costa glasses with the glass lenses and I will never go back to plastic lenses again. The color is beautiful and I look forward to wearing them for many years.

It should have been worse. It would have been worse if I wasn’t wearing any eye protection.Love the fact these aren’t overly polarized. I hate polarized lenses but I can stand these. They stick to your face, but the lenses are hydrophobic! Costa has cornered the market when it comes to wet conditions! None of my Oakleys were ever this easy to keep clean and scratch free. My Costa’s have been able to keep up with my abuse sweating while felling and burning Ponderosas better than anything else….these are my safety glasses!
I love the glasses they are my second pair of this pair though. The glass seems to keep breaking easily. I sent my last pair in for repair (coasta lost my glasses) so after 3 months of being told 2 more weeks i finally got on with a guy who gave me a code for a new pair and told me they had lost my glasses and didn’t know why nobody else told me. I got my new pair not even 2 weeks of having them the crack happened again same place ! I have had 2 other pairs of coastas different styles and never had this problem! Not sure what it is about these ones but it is kind of annoying and they don’t put cracks under warranty so you practically have to pay for a new pair to get them fixed.
I received these on Tuesday and wore them for the first time today. When walking from my car into my house I notice the lens coming out of the bottom of the glasses. I emailed them about it and their response was I could go to a lensecrafter for them to fix it. I spend my money costas because usually they have good quality sunglasses but Instead of them standing by their products they want to send me to a lensecrafter. Very disappointed with costa at this response.
