Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation 30ml M40 Warm Nude

I don’t have the plain liquid one I have the matte version and I absolutely love it, I have combination skin and this foundation blends out evenly not cakey, nice and smooth, doesn’t cling to any dry spots and if u want a more hydrated look all u have to do is use a dewy Setting spray ontop it works wonders. The foundation itself doesnt even look dry I use a brush to blend it out with and it works great. It’s also very affordable I can’t recommend it enough. Definitely will keep repurchasing

I am in LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT. This foundation blends so nicely to the skin it is full coverage. It is very easy to apply. I just wet my beauty blender apply a few drops to the blender and blend my face away. The product is a great drug store buy. This price is not bad at all. Typically ranging from $7.00-$10.00 depending where you find the product at. This is my go to foundation for everyday use. I have very dry, yellow, and redness to my skin so finding a foundation like this to get full coverage has been difficult. Thank you Covergirl for making awesome products!

This foundation is the go to drugstore option in my every day routine. My perfect match for my fair, cool tone skin is L60 but I can also get away with L40 ( which is neutral) for a more warm, tanned look if I desire. One pump does the trick for me for and everyday medium to full coverage and 2 pumps is PLENTY for more of a glam look. It wears well all day especially if using less. If you have applied it more heavily to the face, you might notice some separation here and there. But very minimal. Definitely a winner in my collection and I have repurchased several times. Great stuff!

Although i do like this product, there are some things i don’t like about it. It’s pretty easy to blend out and looks good with other products such as concealer or blush. It is 100% not full coverage, i would wear this for a more natural look. Definitely not something to wear on the red carpet since it’s not super visible. I do like how the colour matches though. It does make my skin feel nice and smooth which i like. Overall, it’s not too bad and i think it’s pretty good. I do recommend it. Hope this kinda helped!

Happy to be a Cover Girl customer again

I used Cover Girl products in the 1980's when I was a teenager, but then stopped as I avoid any cosmetics/ beauty supplies that are tested on animals. Hadn't bought anything Cover Girl for decades for that reason.However, things change, times change, and now Cover Girl is Leaping Bunny certified. I thought I'd try it again. I purchased the TruBlend Matte Made Liquid Foundation in L40 (Classic Ivory). The color was perfect !Although I'm almost 57 years old, any kind of anti-aging foundation meant for 'mature skin' is always too greasy/ shiny for my skin. Plus, I like to apply foundation with my fingers, and really just want to even out my skin tone and not look too 'done up'. I add some blush, mascara, and tinted lip balm, and I'm done with my makeup routine for the day. Nothing too complicated or time consuming.This Cover Girl foundation does a pretty good job of doing what it was supposed to do. I could put a light coat on my face, and then lightly layer a bit more over my red scars. The foundation didn't look shiny or greasy at all during a 12-hour day. It didn't have any odd unpleasant scents. It looked like natural skin, and not a heavy face of make-up.I'm old fashioned and dislike anything that (might) break or stop working, so not a fan of the pump applicator. Would rather just have a regular bottle without any pump. That is my only complaint really.For the price I paid, the coverage, and everything.... certainly, I'd buy this foundation again.

Lightweight and long-lasting

I’ve been trying several foundations trying to find one that didn’t get oily-looking by the end of the day yet also didn’t sink into fine lines and make them stand out. Out of several drugstore and high-end options this one seems to fit that bill the best. I wasn’t sure about my color choice but it seems to blend into my skin tone. Since I like this formula I may try several shades to settle on the best one. This has good coverage yet isn’t cakey and it feels lightweight on my skin. I also liked that I could lay my face on a white pillowcase and there really was no transfer.

Wearer for years

I have been using Trublend Matte Made for years and have always liked the way it goes on and lasts all day. As usually happens, Covergirl has made changes from time to time, especially giving the new style a new shade number. After comparing my old bottle shade to the new ones, I have been able to match the old to the new to find my shade. Other times I've contacted Covergirl. I recently purchased a new bottle of my usual M20. However, when I put it on, I noticed it was at least a couple of shades darker. Were the shades changed but the bottles stayed the same? Maybe it was just an error in processing? Luckily I still have my old bottle so I can go back to compare to bottles on shelf. Wonderful foundation for oily skin

I bought this product after CoverGirl announced that they went cruelty free because I have been looking for a foundation that would stay in place on my oily skin. I have cool undertones and I choose L60 for my shade. I opened the bottle to see the texture and it is a nice in-between of a cream and a liquid foundation. I noticed those white particles people have mentioned, but when I placed it directly on my skin and blended it with circular motions with my flat top foundation brush I never saw those particles on my skin. I haven't used a beauty blender with it so I don't know what much of a difference it would make for application, but with a brush it blended out very well. It was able to cover up most of my little flaws here and there;. I would definitely say this is a medium coverage, but with a little more product on areas where you need it, it will be a full coverage foundation. I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks so I need a little more coverage. Half way through the day I noticed that my skin did not appear as shiny as it normally gets if I use other foundations or if I don't wear one at all. A little oil was on my forehead, but nothing that looked like an oil slick or a grease trap on my face. It transferred a little bit, but please keep in mind that if you rub at your face some may come off. It's transfer resistant not smudge resistant. Transfer is if you pressed against something it wouldn't leave your face a smudge resistant would be if you rubbed it against something. It did last me my 8 hour work day and it only creased a little by my mouth from smiling. I think I picked a shade a tad too dark for me personally, so once this bottle is empty I will try the L20, but this is an amazing foundation for oily skin types and I recommend giving this a try.
