Just buy it. If you're on the fence and not really sure, just do it. I originally bought mine for nails stickers, I was inspired by a YouTuber but now? Side Notes: Design Space is crap but I've learned to maneuver it, so will you. Cricut brand vinyl, also crap, I do not recommend. I DO recommend Tech Wrap Craft vinyl. Explore different vinyl vendors, you don't need to stay within the Cricut brand. Cricut cardstock however, is great if you plan on making custom cards for people. Their tools are fine, you can find your own that work for you as well.

I love this emerald color. When I was on cricket website I bought it as a bundle for like 300 some dollars and I’m so glad I bought as a bundle because you got so much accessories that came with it. I got the emerald green color because one of my favorite colors is emerald green as well as it was one of my wedding colors. This cricket machine is phenomenal I’ve never owned one but I was able to make bookmarks for my sons Valentine’s Day event for his classroom as well as make them tic-tac-toe designs. I’m able to cut cards, wood, washy tape a.k.a. Dollar General vinyl, and so much more. Let’s not forget fabric as well as felt. You can easily buy replacement knives and chips from Walmart or hobby lobby or Michaels if there is a really good sale. I feel like everybody ... MoreI love this emerald color. I own a vinyl decal business and was looking for a machine to do my small projects on. I have a 30in sign plotter but its so big and unnecessary if I’m only cutting a 6 inch decal. Everyone I’ve come across who works with a plotter has really negative things to say about Cricut machines and honestly…I don’t get it. This machine is awesome! Set up is super easy. You plug it in and Cricut walks you through everything. After everything is set up, you can hook it up wirelessly via Bluetooth which is major for me because I already have tons of cords running everywhere and I’m running out of USB ports. I wasn’t sure if the presets would actually work but so far they do. I have used the Iron On, Vinyl, and Paper settings with Oracal, StarCraft, and Avery vinyl and it cut ... I wasn’t sure if the presets would actually work but so far they do. I have used the Iron On, Vinyl, and Paper settings with Oracal, StarCraft, and Avery vinyl and it cut perfectly. Everything weeded easily. I’ve also went into the custom settings and used the sticker paper setting. Again, no issues removing my design from the paper. I was pleasantly surprised. I can’t tell you how nice it is not to have to mess with force, speed, test cuts, and all of that. You just turn the knob to the setting for whatever materials you are using and presto. I feel like this machine wastes way less vinyl than my plotter because design space tries to put objects as close as possible to save space. I love the print then cut option too. I used to have to cut my stickers by hand. Now I print them on my printer and then have the Cricut cut them for me. Everything about this machine saves me time. I have seen people complain that you have the pay for the program Cricut Design Space and this isn’t true. You can still create your own art and use the machine. It’s only 9.99 a month for the subscription and that gives you a ton of clipart, fonts, templates, etc. It’s worth it. What people don’t realize is that most cut programs are not free…they can cost more than a grand, so the fact that Cricut lets you use Design Space without the subscription is actually very surprising. The machine is a bit slow with cutting but I can live with that. I am not a huge fan of cutting with a mat but I’ll get used to it. This machine is a lifesaver and I am glad I decided to ignore the Cricut haters in the sign and decal industry and purchase it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!This is 100% real! I have no more than a year that I get my cricut explore air 2. I was so excited at first and everything seems perfect until two months ago the cricut mats start being VERY DIFFERENT! They don’t come with enough stickiness is just a trick from the company so you can purchase more mats in less time and spend lots of money!! Literally after 4-5 cuts the mat is just useless!!!!! After that, my cricut machine starts ripping out my cardstock! Literally I can’t do any type of project! I tried with several materials and tried with all the selections on the machine AND NOTHING WORKED! I checked if the blade was okay and it was PERFECT! But I even purchased a new one and the problem continues… cricut is not making a clean ... MoreDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!This is 100% real! And worst thing, try to contact customer service! Customer service is the worst!! They don’t want to help you! I called several times! Get LOTS OF tickets number to get contacted and NOTHING! I sent several emails! Only thing I got is a BAD HEADACHE trying to deal with them!!
I’ve been having problems with Walmart and this product since I brought it the first box was beat up had wholes and dents in the box so we asked the associate at Walmart the store for another machine because the machine is delicate the associate stated they cannot bring another box because they they didn’t have none in the back. So I went home to inspect and try to use the machine I got on the phone with circut themselves on a zoom call trying to work the machine when the circut associate notice the machine was defective and not working properly. So i brought it back to the store I picked up from let them know it was damaged when we got it and how were inconvenienced to have to drive back to return it and get a new one the associate then tellls us they have 2 more ... So I go home again I look over the machine and it’s missing the needle which is one of the most important parts of the piece. So now I have to go back to Walmart and try this all over again I’m really u happy with the over alll experience with Walmart. So now I’m inconvenienced having to take time out of my day burning my gas running back n forth to these stores and to have to deal with associates who don’t want to do there jobs
I have not used my Cricut yet. I am anxious to get to use it I had planned on getting the cricut JOY because of it's size. After a few weeks of research, I found out the Cricut JOY is limited to what it can do. Unfortunately, it wouldn't do the one thing I wanted to do.So I did "much" research and I decided the Explore Air2 was perfect for meIt is twice the size (of what I wanted) but it will do everything I want to do.Please, please, do your research before buying. You will be happy with your purchase if you do. Also, you might want to check out "MayMay Made It", over on YouTube. She does a GREAT review of the machines. All my shipments from Walmart have been early and a great experience! Thank you Duehring Enterprises LLC and Walmart!
I purchased my Cricut Explore Air 2 back in July, and it was the most exciting purchase I’ve made for a while. I had intended to use it to help me with my business (cutting out cards, writing thank you notes, etc) and make fun stuff with my daughters, however it has successfully completed projects less often than it has ruined them.It will be cutting or writing just fine, then all of a sudden it will stop working and do it’s own thing (like cut a straight line down through my vinyl or cardstock or draw scribbles with the pen). The pressure sensitivity is also incorrect on the knob. I’ve wasted so much money on having to recut projects.I uploaded a couple pictures from the most recent mishaps - it ruined some cards I was attempting to have it write.I now avoid using it, and it’s sitting in my workshop collecting dust. Very disappointed, and a little jealous of those that have machines that actually work.
I have been experiencing issues with my Cricut Explore Air 2. My machine is two years old and have used it a handful of times. I have always taken good care of it. It is showing a solid red light and will not turn on. I have used multiple power cords and plug ins in different households. I have also tried updating, which does not work if it does not power on. I called customer service to explain the issue. They acknowledged the issue and said that they have had over two hundred complaints of this exact same issue with this model. I was hoping they would be able to repair my defective product or replace the machine. Instead they offered to send me accessories but that isn’t much use when my Cricut itself will not power on. Instead of purchasing a new Cricut, which customer service recommended, I have purchased the Silhouette as the reviews point to a more durable product and better customer satisfaction. I will post back to let everyone know what I think of the Silhouette.
