Cuisinart - 7-Cup Food Processor - Black

I bought the Cuisinart 7 professor cup a long time ago and it still works fine. It's easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. I usually use it to grind all the meats I need. It grinds meat very finely and smoothly. When grinding, the machine makes noise. And you must observe for a short time and then stop so that the machine does not overheat and easily be damaged. In addition, it is very convenient for grinding, cutting and pureeing easily that helps you save a lot of time during food preparation and cooking. I think everyone should have it in their kitchen. Overall worth buying.

Cuisinart Food Processor

Good for quick slicing and shredding vegetables. There are three drawbacks. The first, is the feed shoot being narrow, requiring some veggies to be cut as opposed to placing them whole. The second, is the durability in that the bowl is flimsy. And the third is that the blade shakes when processing, which can a bit scary. Otherwise, it is convenient if you have large amounts of veggies to shred and slice. Hope I’ll get a few uses out of it before it stops working.

Cuisinart food processors keep getting better

It’s the thoughtful details that I really appreciate: The suction cup feet that hold it firmly to any smooth surface, which gives me confidence to use its considerable power. The parts that snap together quickly, and are easy to store because they are designed to nest together. The fact that it’s solid, but not overly heavy.This is the third Cuisinart food processor I have owned. The first one was 25 years old before I had to replace it. Do not remove the gasket in the lid

The power on this little processor is fantastic. Better than an older 11 cup Cuisinart from years ago. Perfect bowl size for most small to medium projects.MAJOR DOWNSIDE: the gasket in the lid can easily trap food and harbor bacteria. So, like any good kitchen cleaner I was able to pop it off for a thorough cleaning. WRONG. No way to get that gasket back on. The plastic pieces that hold it in place are too small for the extremely tight fit. After fighting with it and getting bruised finger tips, it went into the trash, and a replacement had to be ordered. So much for taking advantage of the sale price. Unit is also not returnable even though I just got it yesterday.

Goldilocks-like food processor

It's just the right size, not too small or too big for our family of three and fits nicely in our lower cabinet when not in use. I have to admit that initially the handle was not facing in the right direction and the safety mechanism didn't allow the processor to turn on. Finally, we were able to lock the bowl with the handle facing forward and turn the processor on to make a graham cracker crust for our Easter key lime pie. It did a great job and am so happy with our purchase! Can't wait to use it for other recipes and tasks. I'm a fan of most Cuisinart small appliances because the quality is good for the price point.

Ingenious stacking storage system

This is my second 7-cup Cuisinart Food Processor. I’ve had the first one for many years - maybe more than 20. It worked beautifully until I tried to make bread dough in the processor and burned out the motor. This model works as well as my first. The improvement comes in the storage system. The way all the parts can be stacked inside the bowl is ingenious. It is far superior to the old ways with separate strage which took up more space in my cupboard. If I had had the space, I would have bought the 14-cup model which would exponentially increase my uses. As it is, I bring out my 7-cup often for quick slicing and dicing. It takes the drudgery out of food prep chores.

Okay for smaller everyday tasks

This is my fifth Cuisinart food processor. I loved each one so I continued to upsize, passing down other models to my children. My last Cuisinart (a very large model that can do practically anything except cook the dinner) was just too complicated for what I do most days and storing all the parts takes up a lot of room. Thus I purchased the small 7-cup model. The machine is very noisy and light. It does not adequately pulverize ice when I make my drinks in it. However, it is fine for shredding and slicing small amounts. It is easy to clean and store.

I received the Cuisinart 7-Cup Food Processor to test and review. I love how much time it saves me from doing things manually. I used the food processor to make the filling for dumplings. Making the filling for the dumpling is very time consuming as I have to chop and mince multiple ingredients such as carrots water chestnuts, meat, mushrooms, onions, etc. It helped to reduce the time I normally spend preparing the filling. I also love how I can use the food processor to combine and blend the dough ingredients quickly and easily. The blades are sharp and must be handled with care when washing as to not accidently cut oneself. It has a sleek, modern design with two easy control buttons. [Rewarded Review] Takes a small amount of counter space

I bought this because my old food processor stopped working. I like that it is compact. Especially appreciate fine slicing disk for making pickled onions. Has one speed, but that is sufficient for us. Easy to clean.I use it often for grating cheese because I prefer not to have the caking agents they put in store-bought grated cheese. Less noisy than my former food processor. The non BPA container is a plus.
