I've had this for a few weeks and it does exactly what it should. Have only used with an Asus Chromebook to date.

On initial testing this seems pretty poor. A healthy CAT6 cable loses link when a little cable weight pulls away from the adapter - even though it is still locked into the socket. Latency is also notably higher than with an older Apple USB-A adapter.At least it has link and activity LEDs so I can see when the cable shifts.Fine for an emergency, but far from ideal.(testing on a MacBook Pro M1 Max)

Highly recommended, purchased after another brand kept dropping out. Hasn't dropped out once since purchasing a month ago
Functions exactly as described. The staff member was very well versed & quite the SME.
Works perfectly providing internet from my android phone to a TP-Link travel router. Easy to use, just plug in and choose Ethernet connection in android hotspot settings.
Does the job of adding an ethernet port to a laptop with only USB-C ports available.
