The Dali Oberon Vokal is designed to be the perfect match with any of the speakers in the Oberon series to form a complete surround system. Delivering a precise, clear and detailed sound performance for both your movie as well concert soundtrack. The placement of the front-facing bass port on the front baffle supports different placement options in your TV furniture. Dali has united the best elements from our current speakers and brought them together in the Oberon Vokal to deliver on audio quality, looks and versatility. The Oberon Vokal houses an oversized 29 mm soft dome tweeter together with 2 x 5.25" SMC based wood fibre woofers - supported by the front-facing bass port, which makes the center speaker easy to place. For these reasons, it's the perfect choice for surround setups. You will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. This is also the reason why all Dali loudspeakers are not designed to be toed-in.

Ok I might be a bit biased when it comes to Dali because all but two of my speakers in my surround sound set up are Dali. This speaker was replacing a Dali zensor Pico Vokal and the difference is very noticeable indeed. As stated in a few other reviews on here the centre speaker is the most important and they are not wrong.I found that I can now watch a film etc at a lower volume because I can hear spoken words much clearer, and the speaker hasn’t been run in yet. One word of warning though, it’s quite a big speaker, so make sure it will fit the space you plan to place it. As you can see from my picture, it fits like a glove with a very small amount of wiggle room.As always, top customer service from the Southampton store who helped me with my choice.

I have upgraded from a 10 year old LG DVD player with surround sound system. My first purchase was a Marantz AV Receiver and two Dali Oberon speakers, to be used in conjunction with the old centre speaker and rear surround speakers. After a few weeks with the Marantz and Oberons, I decided that I should get a matching Centre Speaker to replace the old LG one. The Dali Oberon Vokal was the reccomended and obvious choice.CHECK THE DIMENSIONS! I was hoping to be able to fit the Vokal into the TV stand cabinet, along with the Marantz, DVDplayer & Freesat box. I checked the dimensions from the website and it would be a tight squeeze, but it should fit. It is now positioned behind the TV, pointing to the ceiling. Not ideal, but the best that I can do for now. However, the sound, even in the not ideal position, is a great leap forward from the old centre speaker. Nice tonal quality and good volume. I hope that the neighbours appreciate it!Great service over the phone from Mark at the Exeter store during the Corona Lockdown.

Didn't realise how the centre speaker opens a new world of clarity of dialogue with songs and videos and movies and everything else. My word, to say it's a step up from my old 2.1 system would be a gross understatement. This forms part of new Home theatre system with dali oberon 1s, fali alteco surrounds, eh9 sub, rear surrounds (still to be upgraded from onkyo) all with marantz nr1711. I decided against a dolby atmos soundbar/sw and this was clearly the right decision, it's worth the additional cost if you can. V impressed indeed. Great service from Richer Sounds Guildford as usual- have bought audio stuff a fair bit from them over the years and v happy to continue to support this Which! Award-winning ethical, employee-affirming business!

We have upgraded our old speakers to include the Dali Oberon center and front speakers. The ability for the Dali speakers to clearly seperate sound is remarkable. There is so much more sound heard in great detail on TV programs and films. The Richer Sounds team in Stockport were knowledgeable and extremly helpful in our quest to find better speakers and the ability to go into the shop and listen to a range of speaker brands helped us choose the Dali's. We don't upgrade that often, so when you do, you want to make sure you make the right decision. The team at Richer Sounds were invaluable to us in this process.
Went alongside our tall and short Mission speakers and Wharfdale subwoofer. Certainly was the missing piece of the puzzle; previously used Multi Channel setting for the speakers on AV receiver (all sound at different levels coming out of all speakers) Oberon Vokal quality allows for settings more subtle and further reach.
I did hesitate buying this Dali Oberon Centre wondering if it would actually be an improvement over my Q Acoustics Concept. After the initial run in period the improvement in sound was very noticeable! The clarity in the vocals was definitely cleaner and crisper than the QA, It also has bigger and slightly wider sound to it but thats probably down to the larger drivers. Build quality is not as good as the QA concept but overall Im very impressed by the performance of the Dali by comparison. Thanks to Peter Tyson for a first class service!
After much research when looking to replace my ailing old speakers I decided on the Dali Oberon speaker series. Starting with the Dali Oberon Vokal centre speaker. It looks gorgeous in Dark Walnut and the sound is exceptional, it is still running in but I have noticed an immediate improvement on centre channel sounds. Dialogue is crystal clear and I can simply hear sounds I have never heard before. It is worth also noting that the staff at Richer Sounds Maidstone were superb. Great advice. Great responsiveness. Really knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be purchasing the rest of the Dail Oberon speaker range from Richer Sounds in Maidstone.Very happy customer.
Replaced my old q acoustics centre speaker to match Dali Oberon setup, what a difference! If you look for av equipment, richer sounds is best , as always. All my equipment is from here, great people with knowledge. Thanks RS Romford!
So far I am impressed with the sound the reviews read on here and what hifi helped me cancel my order for the KEF which Richer Sounds did in a flash and without question. I do love the service they offer nothing is too much trouble and service is EVERYTHING. Still going through the first 100 hours to get it run in. However when you turn the volume up you will be impressed, vocals are so clear paired with the Sony STRDN1080. I will be adding a set of Dali Oberon 5 floor standers front and back and I haven’t changed my speakers for over 15 years. One point I wish was different is the appearance of the cones you can see the wood fibres and I think that does spoil a nice clean look.
Bought this over Christmas having spoken to the extremely helpful Felix in telesales, who could not have done more to help me decide which speaker to go for. Glad I chose this, what a difference, didn’t realise how much the centre speaker does in a surround setup so having a good one is vital. This is brilliant, everything is so precise and clear, it has great low frequency so I don’t always turn the sub on when watching normal TV. Proper sturdy bit of kit and looks good too. Already looking at other Dali products!
