DBX 234xs Stereo 2/3 Way, Mono 4-Way Crossover

Bang for the buck

This unit is worth every penny paid for it! I have known about dbx products for a long time and finally purchased this one out of need. Craftmanship and quality are both in this unit and is less expensive than other makes with the same specs. Great value and product.

DBX 234xs = Awesome Sounding Music

The sound quality of this unit far exceeds the old unit and the signal is full across volume levels. Went from a Nady 2 way stereo/summed sub output (1/4" phone jack-XLR) to 3 way stereo (XLR-XLR). Crossover points are a little different. The JBL 15's not going as low nor quite as high as before on Crown Xs1200s. The JBL 18's are carrying more load on bridged Crown Xs900s. The Klipsch pair per channel high end is sweet and clean on Crown Xs1200s. The all XLR cabling contributes greatly to the quality of the signals. Coming from a Dell 7010 using WASAPI output connected via Toslink to an Emotiva XDA-2 Gen2 DAC straight into the DBX 234XS with new studio quality XLR cables equals staying up way too late on work nights. Well worth the extra money.

Products all OK

Both crossovers were received OK. Therefore, full marks. However fitting these boxes into the shipping box caused it to split as the crossover box is longer than the amplifier boxes that fitted perfectly.
