I had been missing this color for years from my set and was so glad to find a supplier willing to sell me a single pencil. I love the Derwent Watercolour pencils because they are so rich and vibrant in color and perfect for applying pigment dry, overlaying colors, and then blending with water. I would highly recommend the quality of Derwent for watercolours as well as graphite drawing and technical pencils too.

The color of the Water Green watercolor pencil is beautiful! I have used this pencil to put highlights in the latest watercolor painting of kitchen herbs to lighten certain areas of the leaves. I also bought the May Green pencil to use for spring tree leaves and shrubs.

Derwent Watercolor Pencils are great for a travel pouch. When wet they have wonderful concentrated color and when dry they are permanent. The Soectrum Orange makes a great drawing pencil.

Love it! So nice and vibrant. Easily dissolved with water. Not grainy and nice pigmentation.
I like this color. What the difference between this brand and cheaper brands? Cheaper brands are hit and miss as to whether or not you can make a decent finished product. Worth the extra money. I also recommend the derwent Inktense pencils and blocks. Great vibrant colors you might not expect from a pencil. You could have potential breakage issues where the tip falls out...but I haven't found anything good for the same price range. If you have breakage issues you should be able to contact customer service because they want to make things right...which I appreciate.
Jerry's had very prompt delivery speed which I appreciated because I was instructing a paint party with wine glasses in the theme and I used the watercolor pencils to outline the glass. Some watercolor pencils do no spread their color very far, but these Derwent WC pencils were very worth their money,
I hope the color will be useful for sea wave. The pencil does not go on as smoothly as museum Aquarelle by Caran D'Ache.
My favorite is Water color pencils. These are smooth with vibrant colors that look great when water is added.I will buy them again. I like being able to buy just the colors I need and use most.
