Have used this item before,,,,,,which is why I purchased it!FFX after sales were second to none, as there was trouble with delivery being delayed!Whilst the delay occurred the item fell into FFX Promotion week,,,,,,, FFX had no problem refunding the difference,,, they were brilliant, as after notified re:-delay they were on it straight away!!!,I have before ,,,,,, and will again, purchase my tools from FFX.

Only used it for hammer drill so far but works perfectly and can withstand a good bit of use. Still need to try it out with chisel accessories but liking it so far.

Well chuffed with this SDS drill. Used this to put 12mm holes through C16 timber into a concrete slab for 'thunder bolts' to tie down a new stable block I was putting up. No problem!A very useful addition to my DeWalt cordless collection.Very competitive price from Toolden....only thing for improvement would be notification / tracking of the order to know when it's due to arrive.

Good drill, pity it hasn't got the anti vibration. Does exactly what you need for DIY jobs. Probably not the best for professionals but will do what you need it to.
Excellent small SDS drill which is surprisingly powerful for its size. Does just what I need for small domestic DIY projects.
This is the most amazing bit of kit. I wish I had bought this months ago. Certainly making all my jobs a lot quicker and less stress on my hands. Brilliant
Excellent and powerful sds unit.Concrete walls are no match for the drilling capacity. Lightweight and easily used in awkward to get at areas. It should not be bought for its chiselling quality but perfecly adequate and capable of removing small tiles or recessing electric sockets etc. A great addition to the DeWalt 18v XR range. Every Pro or Hobby DIYer should own one. I'd recommend without hesitation.
I have bought this for my husband as a Christmas pressie (very early I know but I like to buy through the year). I could not leave a good answer to the performance/reliability review as my hubby had not opened it yet! I have read all the reviews online first and they were excellent. My hubby is an avid DIY person and loves Dewalt products as he loves their reliability. I bought as I felt the cost of the product was much less than I would have expected for the features the product has. I know my husband will play with this item for hours on Christmas morning! Sad I know but there are much much worse things he could be into!!! Ha ha ha!
DO NOT BUY!! As a tradesman who relies on his tools like a second appendage it is important to be able to pick up a tool and put it to work without too much bother, agreed over time things will tire but not after 12 months! I bought this heap of junk just over 15 months ago and it has been back to Dewalt twice for repair,the first time after 12 months then 2 months after that and now its just failed again for the 3rd time 3 weeks after being returned to me from repair during a job which required lots of stone drilling! I have owned it for 15 months now and I am bitterly regretting spending all that money on it! To top it all off, the Dewalt 3 year guarantee is very useful IF you can get through to someone to talk to! 65 mins on hold then 5 hours before a callback ... MoreDO NOT BUY!!
