Love this brand. The quality of Diptique candles is outstanding. Baies is still I believe the brand's bestselling scent, but I would recommend trying their other scents out as well. This candle has a neutral and soft scent so even if you are purchasing Baies for yourself or as a gift without prior trying it out, there is no way you can go wrong here. I use this scent often when I am having a bath evenings and relaxing after a long day. For those having second thoughts regarding Diptique, it takes the company days and sometimes up to a year to produce a candle and the company is a definition of quality.

I am a complete candle addict and just had to try this brand which is all over my FYP. I have initially purchased the small one for £35. It is very small but I wanted to make sure I liked it before investing in a larger size.The candle burns very evenly and the flame is perfect. The scent of the Baies is not quite to my liking but that was the only one that I liked at all that was in stock.The test for me was whether the scent would last and fill the room which it certainly did. I would purchase this in a larger size but in a gourmand scent that is more to my liking.

Lasts longer than expected...

Smells like Rose and Freesia, with a definite fruity note too, Blackcurrant predominantly. Hands down the most expensive candle I've ever purchased (was $65 USD for 6.5 oz when I purchased this, but nowadays costs nearer $74 USD). However, I've had it for almost 2 years and not even a third of the way through it (burning it on average once every week) so value for money is actually pretty good. Takes about 15 minutes before the fragrance reaches the edges of a moderate sized room and even after blowing out, I still get a good amount of scent for the next hour or so. Favourite candle ever! The Diptyque Baies candle is seriously a game changer. The scent is this perfect mix of fresh berries and soft rose, and it fills the room without being too intense. Plus, the glass jar looks so chic and classy - total decor goals. It feels super luxurious every time I light it, and the whole vibe it creates is just amazing. Definitely a splurge, but worth every penny for how much it elevates the space. Love gifting to friends too

Low quality product

The candle arrived loose in the jar which meant it had been bashed around within the jar during transit. It was flaky at the edges and the jar was dirty looking where the wax had marked it on the inside and around the rim. I took photos and asked for a replacement. The replacement arrived in the same condition so that was also returned. I'm now waiting for a refund. I've had these candles before and was disappointed this time. The quality and standard of product has deteriorated. Surely the candle should not be completely removable, I've never bought one like that before unless I'm buying a refill. Won't be buying again.

As i wanted to upgrade the deco of my bedroom i decided to have a look at the Diptyque brand . I'm so glad i did it 😊I've started with the velvet hands cream ( which is amazing too) and was so pleased that i've took a look at the candel and chose the baies one 300g . I feel that this size is the perfect fit for my bedroom who let a very nice smell . I definitly like also the black jar and black wax who makes it very elegante .Concerning how long it last i can tell you that i've started to use it 2 weeks ago and let it burn at least an hour every day and there is still more to go . Perfectly poured and perfumed

I got this as a gift and I have fully burned the candle now. It’s gorgeous. It has a very floral scent and may not appeal to those who prefer woody scents (try Ambre or Figuier instead). This has a great cold and warm throw and the warm throw fills a large room easily. I sometimes have it on the landing so that the scent is more subtle on entering the house as this can be quite powerful after a while. After burning this for around 4 hours in the evening I can still smell the scent the morning after for a little while. It’s not my favourite scent, but I do like it. The candle burns evenly with no smoke – I trim the wick before lighting and I use a candle snuff when I’m finished burning it. Scent fills the room

I had to try this because I had read so many reviews saying this was the best candle ever etc.. Although I think it is a tad expensive, I had to see what the hype was about. My favourite ever candles were Tocca, but they dont seem to be available in the UK anymore, so I am looking for a replacement. The scent of this jumps out at you as soon as the box is opened, very strong. Even without lightning it, it is enough to fill the whole room. It took me a while to place the smell, but eventually I did- YSL Baby Doll perfume! ( for anyone who had that). Lovely perfume, I think you certainly get what you pay for. Next time I will try the Amber scent.

The best candle in the world

So I had a few teething troubles at first , unfortunately I received one that had probably had the wick misplaced .. as when I lit it ( no need for trimming the wick was tiny ) and leaving to burn for at least 5 hours it had tunnelled quite badly , this can happen every now and again with high end candles as they are all individually handmade.But I've had this candle many times and it is my ultimate treat , there is no other smell like it . Instant relaxation with an out of this world scent .I've since found these candle toppers which can help massively if you find you are having problems with tunneling. The brands best seller for a reason

This candle is their best seller and my favourite candle. The smell is elegant and sophisticated not too overpowering but it packs a punch at the same time. I must add that I burn in a small room and can’t comment on performance in larger spaces. For the price range the burn is better and last longer than their main competitors however it’s disappointing to see the recent price increase. Which now makes it Birthday and Christmas list treats only. I have a lot of love for this one.
