Bought this in Waitrose, thought it might be better than a non stick washing up sponge. First time I used it, loads of bits got caught in the bristles and it took me an age to pick them out under running water. Secondly, I ended up using my non stick washing up sponge to get off the bits the brush wouldn't. And thirdly, after it didn't perform as expected I was kicking myself for buying it as it's made entirely of plastic, which is something we,should not be encouraging. It's a gimmick, don't waste your money.

I've been using one for about 18 months, and it's surprisingly good at certain jobs, like washing cutlery and plates, and also removing baked-on residue from teflon-coated pots and the like. However, I keep a regular brush handy for glasses and pans, as it doesn't cope so well with those. Would recommend as a companion, not a replacement, to the standard disk brush.

I love making bakes and hot pots, and there is inevitably always a quantity of burnt on bits around the edges, corners, etc. I bought this item specifically for these items and oh my god it works so well! It lifts up the stuck on bits so easily, and then when I'm finished it all just rinses away from the bristles. Very good product and does exactly what I need.

Was seduced by the thought it might replace both a normal bristled brush and a plastic pot scraper. It doesn’t.Not flexible enough for everyday brushing and not 'man' enough to remove baked-on debris. Actually rather useless.
I saw this and thought it was a great idea. Once home I've read the reviews and am not going to take out of packaging. I would not usually return items due to poor reviews but £2.40 when it retails in Sainsbury's which I consider high end for £2.00.Love Wilko's but not this stick with tiny teeth. H x
As a washing up brush it rates pretty useless as the bristles are too sharp so just scratch at the dishes. Where it comes into its own is for cleaning my cash iron skillets. I tend to wash them in very hot water & normal plastic bristles just collapse but these are thick enough to stand the heat
Whoever designed this brush had looks in mind and is a dish washer user only. If they had really tried to wash up with it they would have realised it doesn't work. The most expensive and useless brush on the market (ps - works on suede OK, perhaps should remarket as a boot brush?)
The dish brush re-invented? It certainly is. I don't know whether I have missed something but it has no effect at all. Everything I have washed up with it has to be re-washed with cloth or scourer. I have actually fished my old (cheap) brush from the bin to use again.
This is absolutely useless as a washing up brush. The thick plastic "bristles" are too soft and too far apart and are not a patch on proper bristles. It is also useless on pans. I bought it because it sounded good and looked like a quality product but I would not recommend it to anyone.
First outing for this was to clean a grill pan. It a) took longer and more effort than a scrubbing sponge, b) was left with bits between the plastic spines and c) certainly wasn't clean when I 'simply rinse[d] under running water' as the packaging advised - it remained grubby looking and greasy. It got clean when I put it through the dishwasher, but - really? - why should I have to do that?? Tried it on just scrambled egg in a non-stick pan and its very square shape prevented it getting round the bottom effectively. Can't think what I'll use it on so will probably just chuck it - and kick myself at the same time as it's 100% non-recyclable plastic.
