This drone with the joystick controller is one of the most enjoyable I have ever flown. I have been flying for several years, and am usually very cautious as a single bump can cause a crash, and the blades are very vulnerable (even with guards on). But this drone was designed to take some beatings. I have taken a few crashes with it and it just keeps on going. I added a video of flying through a tree in my yard, and I bump a branch, the drone just shrugs it off. With the joystick controller and FPV goggles I feel like I am flying a plane. When I put it into sport mode I have hit over 32 mph and can dive, clime and turn very smoothly and quickly. It is as close to flying as you probably could be without doing it. New to FPV and only flown it for about 10 minutes and didn't crash! š Relatively simple to get it updated and ready to fly. The goggles do not fit my face perfectly with a little bit of light peaking through at the bottom, didn't even notice it after about 30 seconds of flying though.Drone point has been excellent to deal with!

Although Purolator dropped my drone off at Amazon instead of delivering it to me and I have yet to receive it, I want to give Essam from Drone point a shoutout for going above and beyond to rectify this situation. I'm getting a replacement shipped today. Thanks Essam and thanks Drone point. It's always nice to see a company putting the customer first.
Typical DJI - really good product, great integration of various hardware parts & software. My overall impression is very positive - Iām mentioning the disadvantages for completeness sake and for the benefit of others:- Drone & Goggles are great - battery life is very decent for an FPV drone- Reviews complain about their only being the Motion Controller in the box - it is surprisingly good- Putting the SD card in / out of the drone is terrible - slot is placed inside rotor cage- No option to wirelessly connect with DJI Fly App (you do need it sometimes) - you need to plug a cable from your phone into the GogglesOverall still very positive - Iām sure hardcore FPV pilots would have more reservations, but I give it a very positive grade.
Pros: Goggles 2 are amazing and the drone is very good to fly indoors and obviously outdoors. Indoor flying is easier on the Avata compared to the DJI FPV drone.Cons: The Bundle comes with the motion controller 1. The MC2 is out so should have that included instead of the MC1

(Plus backpack plus controller plus lanyard plus 65Watt charger) A tiny bit underpropped....nothing to cry about. The motion controller isn't worth the plastic it's made out of.....Buy a controller or dunna bother.... seriously! Motion controller is...... a gimmick. Pros: As a seasoned Mavic user, the Avata is a very different experience. The motion controller is easy and intuitive. It is compact and extremely well built.Cons: It would be great to have more control over the camera; the SD card access is a bit awkward to access, and as with every drone, battery life is average!
I'm new to FPV, This drone is an eye opener to whatās ahead as I progress! I have seen some peopleās reviews of the motion controller, to be honest I think itās the perfect match for this Drone! Whatās the flight time compared to other FPV kits are just lacking! I seriously get an average of 12 to 14 minutes of flight time! This thing is soo much fun! Iāve crashed it already once, not a mark on it! Itās a beast! This was a spur the moment purchase and I do not regret in a section of it! Cant wait for fly more combo to become available so I can have extended flight time!
I recently purchased a DJI Avata fly Smart combo from the DJI online store . My review is in regards to a statement made in your droneadvertisement right here !This drone does not have a top speed of 97 km / hour !Maybe if you can get the remote control from the first generation DJI Fpv drone and are able to put Avata in full Manual mode . But not in thispackage being advertised here . Itās top speed in sort mode is 70 - 80 kilometres per hour at the most . I have a total of 3 DJI drones iām licensed as a drone pilot through Canadian government.In all fairness these DJI drones are excellent quality. The Avata does not go as fast as it claimed in this ad. thatās all iām saying . thanks ! djm..
