This is an affordable and very solid gimbal for your phone. I decided to get this because I have a DJI drone that I love so I trusted the brand and this product lived up to expectation. Very happy with this purchase.

I just played with this gimbal briefly but this solid build gimbal is awesome! I was skeptical about the magnet mechanism but so far its rock solid.
Sturdy and does what it say's it will do. With the DJI Mino app, it takes this device to a whole other level. Love It!
Good for vlogging if you don?t want to carry a dslr camera or camcorder. Very smooth. Definitely recommend.

Although I couldnt find any information confirming that my Sansung Note 9 phone would be compatible with the DJI gimble, I took a chance and bought the unit. iStore fulfilment worked very well, and I received my parcel via courier within 2 days. Unfortunately I couldnt find the app on Android Playstore, but when I checked on the DJI website I found the option to download an APK file. This was the first time I came across this as an option, but I held my breath and downloaded it onto my phone. I then had to use my file manager app to locate the file on my phone, before executing the program file. Everything worked smoothly, and the app was installed on my phone. The device works very well and lifts my video recoding to a much more professional level. I then paid for an app called video leap - which i use to package and edit photos and video clips with music. I then upload to YouTube and embed the video in my website and share the YouTube link on social media and WhatsApp. Im very relieved and happy. My initial option was to buy the same device from Takealot for an extra R100 - and enjoy a 30 day returns policy if it couldnt work with my phone, but Takealot ran out of stock. So I was forced to by the gimbal from iStore. I think a similar guarentee with iStoie would have been fantastic, but everything worked out in the end. Its a great product, delivered very efficiently and effectively by iStore and their high security courier.
Pros: Very clever technology, lightweight.Cons: Not intuitive to use. Software seems a bit clunky. A significant drain on your phone’s battery life.
Cons: The mobile-phone app that the device needs is not available for Android except as a direct download from the vendor's web site, which caused security issues on my phone, and in any case it refused to install. There are lots of complaints on the web from established users because their device reportedly ceased to work after upgrades to Android and/or the app.
