The DJI Osmo Mobile 3 will make your directorial debut a sensation with your family, friends and love ones something to gasp about.I did not mention about any and every other means of using this handheld device which is very easy and simple to operate for the novice photographer, and video technician.I have no dislike about this product

Despite being 2 generations old the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 still offers everything you need in a gimbal. It combines excellent mobile handling ability & performance with relatively light weight and foldability. And the finishing touch to the package is the accompanying app which is intuitive and feature rich, particularly for new users.

I couldn't get it to work - I consulted a professional photographer who also failed to get it to function. There are a series of on-line Video instructions but they are all reliant on installing and balancing your phone on the Gimbel - the 'setting up the device' is the first video - I never got beyond this. The unit remained floppy and wouldn't connect.
It does what it is designed to do. Be mindful that that the clamp to hold the device is limited in size. I have a Google Pixel 3 XL with an Otterbox case and it will NOT fit with the case on. I have to remove the Otterbox to fit in the cradle. Other than that it works as advertised. ONE QUIRK: Sometimes the various functions like zoom and record start/stop quit working. You have to forget the device in your Bluetooth settings and re-pair it. I am unsure if it is a problem with the Pixel or the Osmo.
The gimbal was exactly as shown online and was the best price I could find within Ontario. It shipped quickly to my house and I was able to us it for my ski trip that weekend. Unfortunately it doesn't do great at staying balanced at high winds/ speeds when snowboarding but there are lots of scenarios on trips in the future that I can think of that this will be put to good use for! 10/10 recommend product and this store.
Great for stabilising video on your smartphone, but even better for things like capturing motion time-lapses which would be impossible without something like this. The tracking feature also makes it look like you have a separate camera operator if you are on you own. The DJI version is easy to use and very well-built. I'm considering upgrading to the OM 5 simply because that has a magnetic phone mount which would make putting the phone on and off the gimbal so much quicker
The software required to operate the stabilizer is not supported by Android. A large phone with an Otter case ends up at the limit the stabilizer can handle. I made two similar videos, one with the stabilizer and one without. The video without the stabilizer looks more steady.
As a product, the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 probably works completely effectively, if you know how to use it. I personally don't like that I have to download an app to use some of the features I'm most interested in (motion tracking, etc.) and that I can only use my back camera for them-- during quarantine I was more looking for a product to use with a tripod that could self track my own motion while I watched it (from the selfie cam), and I have yet to figure that out on the app (though arguably I haven't tried that hard). First of all, the Osmo 3 has great features and is great for many ideas which you may have! Also though, if you shoot in 60fps, and slow your footage down, you can get some real buttery footage, which is only possible and a big many thanks to the stability this piece of kit offers with its gimbal. Plus, at the price, you really cannot knock it for what your getting! If youre starting out or are even a seasoned professional, Id highly recommend this item for your needs!
