I woke up this morning in a rush, late for my 9to5 job in retail. Quickly throwing on my uniform, brushing my hair and putting it up in a messy bun that makes me look scruffy but aesthetic. Deciding to wear my new pair of boots, I was delighted to realise how easily I could put them on using the zip on the side. Extremely stylish and bold colored boots. These boots have easily become my favorite boot to wear. After tightening the laces, they fit practically perfect. While they have some weight, it’s nothing too bad and just means the platform is durable and strong. Planning on buying other platforms in the future!

Stunning boots as always from DMS. I already have 2 pairs of leather, 1 very old, and another still in the box....IYKYK. I was given these ones as a Christmas present and I absolutely love them. The colour is gorgeous and I'm loving the platform sole. The biggest difference is that there was absolutely no breaking them in! I'm hoping the durability is as good as the originals.

I truly love these boots, both for the mono black color through out, and the platform. The boot feels fairly lightweight without being too heavy on the foot. Bonus is that there is both a zipper and adjustable laces for easy on and off. I am usually between a size 6.5-7 and based off reviews sized down to the 6, would recommend sizing down if in between sizes. Overall a great boot!One not so great thing to be aware about: I did feel that due to the vegan (synthetic) material, they are tougher to break in then the real leather. I got these mid-September with summer temperatures and wore with thin ankle socks. Whoops, that was a mistake. Biggest recommendation is wearing THICK socks and/or having the boots over pants/leggings/jeans when breaking them in! Lucky we are in the colder months so it should be easier to do so.
I’ve been wanting some vegan Dr Martens for a while and finally decided to treat myself. I LOVE the style of the platform boots (both Jadon and Chelsea) but was disappointed that the vegan options don’t have the ‘classic’ DM style (yellow stitching, metal coloured eyelets). I think sometimes big brands forget that we just want what other people have but vegan.I bought the Jadon mono to give them a chance but, my own preference was that I ultimately wanted DM’s that looked like DM’s and these didn’t fit the bill. The quality was really there, it’s just the style for me.I’ve sent them back and purchased a pair of vegan regular Chelsea DM’s whilst I sit back and hope that they make a classic looking vegan platform.
They are lovely looking boots with a shiny finish and deep cherry red colour. They came up a little big especially over the top of the foot and round the ankle. Even when trying to tie the laces as tight as they would go, my ankle felt unsupported. So I tried them with medium thickness walking socks and they were a better fit. However, I had to return them as the tongue was defective and pressed into the top of my foot making it quite sore even just striding around the living room. The boot material is very firm (possibly less flexible than leather) and unfortunately the tongue is fixed at the part of the boot that goes over the top of the foot. Therefore, there is a 'fold' where the tongue doubles back on itself and stitched to the body of the boot. These are okay if you don't mind the scuffing (which started on the first wearing). They're slowly getting more comfortable but started out pretty stiff and painful to wear. I got these after returning a different pair where the tongue tore out very quickly. Since all the talk about the quality going down so much seems to be accurate, I won't be buying Doc Martens again.
I absolutely adore my new vegan white docs! I haven't had to wear them in, I wear two pairs of socks and haven't had one blister! They are super comfy and look amazing, I've had so many compliments! The vegan leather looks great and I simply use baby wipes to keep mine clean as suggested on the website. Would definitely recommend!

Also, with no half sizes, this might have helped, as my toes were almost touching the end, I ordered a 7, as reviews said they ran big and if that was true, then I thought if I ordered an 8, they would be way too large. In hindsight, maybe an 8 would have been good, as I have been wearing 7.5 in other shoes. Although i ordered size 13, and they’re marked size 13 U.S. but they’re not. They fit like a size 12 U.S. I’m going to send this pair back. I like these boots but they’re way too short in the toe box. Also, where each side with the lace holes, the gap between the two panels is way too wide, which is another tell these boots are not the size marked/stated/printed. I’d exchange them for another pair of size 13 U.S. but im afraid they’ll send me another pair thats too small. I’d order a size 14 U.S. but if Doc Marten sends me a true size, they’ll be too big! I noticed this pair was built in Laos. First time for me buying boots made in Laos. I own pairs of Docs built in China, Thailand, &Vietnam.
