I ordered a size down as reviews suggested and discovered it was too small. I ordered my regular size 8 and it fit like a glove. I was a little concerned because I purchased these for a trip with a lot of walking and found that the boots quality leather was stiff. I put on a pair of wool socks and wore them around the house for two days before I left for my trip. Iām excited to say that I didnāt get blisters or tired feet which I expected since it is a heavy boot. I also walked in the snow and ice and it definitely was slip resistant and I fall all the time on ice so I am extremely satisfied with these Chelsea boots in black! Jungās my narrow ankles perfectly! Very cool looking.

Lovely take in the classic DM Chelsea boot. Only worn a couple of times and although initially uncomfortable it didn't take too.long to start breaking them in to where that are now comfortable. I'm a size 10 and they fit true to size. Can't really comment on whether or not the sole is truly more slip resistant or not yet but they do look and feel a lot more longer lasting that the original soles. Not entirely convinced on the feel and finish of the leather yet, maybe just down to my taste. They don't quite have the same finish to my Chelsea boots I had when I was still at school some 15+ years ago which my mum still wears. Shame they got rid of the stamped logo on the heel.

Iād been eyeing these for a while and finally pulled the trigger. They are such good quality, and the chunky sole is cool. Not as chunky as Iād like, but the notches make them unique. Super easy to get on and off, true to size, and the padded soft foot bed was really comfortable. Iām usually and AU8 but an AU7 in Docs. I ended up returning them, not due to any quality or sizing issues but because I knew Iād never reach for them over my Sinclairs. But would still recommend them to anyone looking for a chelsea boots thatās a bit more interesting.

I ALMOST RETURNED THESE, because they were so hard to get on I thought I had to order a size up but then checking online, that seems to be a thing. When I got my feet in the shoes, theyāre snug like any new boot but I bought some double doc socks (which I highly recommend if you buy these) and they have helped āstretchā them out comfortably. Iāve worn them about a week straight now to work and just out and theyāre so comfy! I have super flat feet and they kinda hurt at the end of the day but the pain isnāt horrible like with other shoes so I ordered the insoles :). I get daily compliments on these shoes and definitely change the outfit for the better. Theyāre true to size once you get them on and would highly recommend!
Well made. Comfortable. Fit for purpose. Overall I am happy with them. Originally ordered them in a size 9.5 as that is usually the size I need, provided the width and height of the footwear is adequate. Returned them and ordered a replacement pair in size 10, which after a bit of assistance from my shoe stretchers fit perfectly. I take my dog out everyday and sometimes twice/ three times per day so I have now worn them in and am very happy with them, hence the 5*.Bought 2 other pairs of boots at the same, so I am confident once I ā break them inā they will be perfect .
I have been wearing Dr Marten Boots since I was attending secondary school, and have continued to this vary day. My career has allowed me to travel to many places across the globe attending many trade shows. When you are stood up all day a cushioned air sole is the only choice. In fact I have visited Las Vegas 18 times and my Dr Martens have been with every time. Iām 59, and in 2 weeks Iām off to Barcelona for a week, and my brand new 2976ās arrived on Tuesday. I have DM shoes size 5UK and I love them and they fit me perfectly. I bought these boots in the same size and my foot is swimming in them. I sent them back and ordered the size 4 instead hoping they would fit but they were far too small for me. This was so disappointing because I love the quality of DMs, they are one of my favourite brands, but this sizing of the boots means that I cannot own a pair. Very disappointed with this, especially since I wear a size 5 from the same brand in shoe. Unfortunately I'll have to buy a different brand for my Chelsea boots which is something I really didn't want to do as I trust the quality of DMs above most other shoe brands outs there.
