It is amazing. I've been only wearing it for a week but definitely my favourite pair of boots so far. Platform, so I just look good in everything, I'm quite short, so finally I can wear "tall" jeans too without a problem. The back of the boots still very stiff, but the break in time is surprisingly quicker than expected. I do use the heel grip from the website, and ut definitely helps a lot. I am a size 4 in everything, and size 4 fits perfect in all my docks. I used the wonder balsam to soften the leather a bit, and so far my favourite shoe care piece.I can't wait to break it in more, and I don't think I'll wear anything else for a while!

The kid got decked out in some new gear with a fab thrifted fur coat, and I swore they looked like a freaking super model. That may or may not have had something to do with the added two inches in height from the boots. Wish they were in my size, because I'd love to rock 'em too.Yeah, they're heavy, but they're substantial, quality crafted boots with sewn on soles that shouldn't ever need to be glued. I think the good Doctor hit the mark with the Jadon Max, and I'd buy 'em again after sizing out... or maybe just another pair for me.

These boots are sexy. Both the black and yellow laces look amazing. I love the difference in the eyelets from the regular Jadon boots and 1460's. I already knew my size in the 1460's (which fit true to my actual size), so these fit perfectly in the same size. I do recommend trying on a pair of 1460's in person if you've never worn Dr. Martens before, which aren't too hard to find in many shoe stores and mall outlets, so you can get the right size on the first shot. You will have to get used to raising your foot a bit higher than normal while going up steps, which is super funny, but other than that, these are hot, and you are hot for wanting them.

WOW where to even start with these boots! I have never owned a paper of Docs before but having seen these boots I knew that I had to have them. I was a little worried having read that the boots can take time to “break in” & cause all sorts of pain to the feet until they are moulded to your foot but this was not the case for me with these boots. Not only are they gorgeous but they are super comfortable too! The first time I wore them I was able to wear them for a entire day/eve with not such much as a single pain complaint. I have had SO many compliments on them, I just absolutely love them! I feel sure that these boots will last me for years to come - would highly recommend.
These are the second pair we’ve bought. My son really likes them, which is why we’ve bought them again, but like all Doc Marten boots we’ve had over the past 5-years, the zips break constantly, which means we spend £30 each time replacing it, and the zip tears away from the boot too. Doc Martens are expensive products and this should not happen. Personally, I wouldn’t buy them anymore, and I’m not sure my children will either if this continues to keep happening. Stylish, but very poorly made.
They are not only stylish with any outfit, but they also are extremely comfortable - not one blister in sight from day 1!!The yellow laces also add a lovely little twist to the shoes, with an extra pair of black laces sent with them in case the colour doesn’t match your outfit ;)I honestly have worn them almost every day since receiving them a few weeks ago! I work a job where I walk around and stand a lot and they have been such a good asset for it. Also super easy to clean!Bottom line, run don’t walk x
Excellent! I own the regular Jadon’s, but I decided I wanted a little more drama and style so I went for these when Tillys was offering them at a great price. They were worth the money! I’m tiny (maybe 4”11”) so they work perfectly for me height wise. I don’t find them particularly heavy at all. I broke them in quickly by using a combo of the wet newspaper method, tripling up on thick wool socks and wonder balsam. I do find these scuff quite easily, since they are shiny, but some DM black polish does the trick for that as well. Highly recommend, thanks again for the great price Tillys!
Now I am stuck with a pair of boots i will never wear. I bought my size and I look like I am wearing tree trunks on my feet. These are extremly heavy, the leather is very hard, there is no kind of lining inside, the arch support is terrible...I have to knot the laces really tight which stops the blood flow to my legs, in order to keep these boots from constantly rubbing on my heels, and this doesnt even help that much. The inside of the boot sole has no cushioning...it is hard like cement. I have a pair of galdiators sandals which i love. They are light and easy to wear, very soft to step on. I was expecting the same from the boots. These are so heavy, 1kg per boot. I had to scale them. I purchased in November and I didnt get a chance to return them. I’ve had the smaller platform boots for 2.5 years and ended up wearing them to work in foodservice since they’re waterproof and non-slip. Now the old ones are thrashed and I only wear them to work. I got the maxes to wear to school and go out etc. and they are perfect! Same size, same comfort, just taller and shiny and new. Not as hard to break in as I always heard. I am very very happy. Maybe they seem a little pricey, but if you treat them well, they will last decades. They go with everything. Can’t say enough nice things about my boots!
