Drakkar Intense by Guy Laroche Eau De Toilette Spray 100ml

It smells absolutely terrific . the projection on me is not the greatest. This is probably due to my body chemistry.

Not my favorite Drakkar. It is a nice everyday scent. It has a powdered scent almost feminine. Bought once, will not buy again.

We've all smelled Drakkar Noir, and at this point we've all made/heard jokes about it too. If I'm being honest though, I will always have some nostalgia for it since it was one of the first fragrances I wore as a teenager in the early 90s. So much to my surprise I found out that in 2022 there was a new release by Guy Laroche called Drakkar Intense. As my reviews title indicates this is similar but different to the well known 80s powerhouse. Drakkar Intense is much more pleasing than I had originally thought it would be when I first sprayed it. This new fragrance is a woody aromatic like Drakkar Noir but it has a very clean soapy smell in the opening and in the dry down it feels like it is wrapped in a warm amber. Oddly enough, it smells a little bit like CK Obsession is lingering in the far background. The downside of this fragrance is that it has poor performance, especially for an EDP. It does project well for about 2 hours then settles down to a skin scent for a short time. After about 4 hours it is essentially gone off your skin. Spraying on clothing seems to give you a few extra hours. Thankfully, it is only $30 for a 100ml bottle so you can reapply to your hearts content. All in all it is a very good fragrance and if you used to (or still do) rock Drakkar Noir this is a great bottle to check out.

This cologne I came across accidentally. However, this has become a new favorite. It lasts long and is an attractant.

Drakkar reimagined

Drakkar Intense edp is different. Initially, a blast of sweet minty yummy freshness. Honeyed, after 5 minutes the boozy fragrance takes over. Then comes the slight vanilla sweetness with maybe some lavender. There is definitely the drakkar vibe, but where this one goes, is in the direction of a beautifully well executed, sweet pipe tobacco that's done EXTREMELY WELL. Think Captain Black Black Cavendish pipe tobacco. Just succulent and irresistible to the nose! Drakkar has a solid product here. On a side note, if the sillage was mad for about 3-4 hours, then this could be a FIFI Award winner cuz it's that good! Longevity on me is about 3-6 hours. Definitely worthy of purchase! I haven't worn drakkar in years. Now, it's time to take a second look.

Guy Laroche 'INTENSE'

The smell is good, not too 'INTENSE' and not lasting at all. The original one, 'NOIR', is a lot better option, is remarkable and it lasts quite a while.

This is great use as an after shave! Although it is not as intense as I thought it would be.

Very Nice

The smell is beautiful. It’s soft but alluring. I bought it for my son-in-law who is difficult to please with cologne. He loves it! Buy it for your men ladies.
