Pleased to see Bosch still produce this drill, it is excellent, a great workhorse. Bought two in 2009 and still going!. Now added a third to our stock. Easy to use and nice and light for constant work. Highly recommended.

I needed a new electric drill for DIY use. After some research, I decided on a Bosch, but wasn't sure which model. In the end I went for the GSB 13 RE Pro. because it was lighter than the GSB 16 RE (although to be fair, there wasn't a lot of difference). I was surprised that it did not come in a plastic storage case, but on reflection they are usually a pain to store the tool back in after use so after the initial disappointment I didn't worry about it. It has plenty of power, more than my old burnt out machine and for general household DIY will do a great job. I don't like battery drills. This one has a reasonable length of power lead. Great drill, would recommend it certainly as a drill and it's use, no specifics needed just see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

A replacement for the similar one that has died. New one is made in Russia. Last one in Switzerland. The old chuck looks better quality. I looked carefully at the opposition before buying the same again. Works a treat. Might last another 20 years. but I will be pleasantly surprised if I am still using it then.

Small but powerful, top build quality feeling, as expected from blue Bosch.
It is a very nice machine for normal everyday use. Sturdy and nice to work with. If you expect to drill through concrete with a 20mm drill or one of those drill-heads used to punch holes for piping, do get something bigger, though.

it's ok if you drill occasionally, if you have some bigger job to do buy a better tool
used it for 4 h continuously and it was perfect, no overheating or power loss
