I bought this original kettle 12yrs ago & was a great product. I recently bought a new version & would highly recommend. Dualit is a reliable brand, & this kettle is lightish weight, easy to top up & filter is gd to have. Quiet & quick what more do you want.

This replaces one I left behind in London - that one lasted 10 years and I'm sure this will be the same
The lid on this jug is not so functional, very stiff , also it's easy to burn yourself with too much stainless steel on the lid, otherwise it boils water as it's supposed to just fine. Already bought another one to replace it, only had it for a couple of weeks.
