Very impressed. Was very hesitant but very pleased with my choice. Suction is very powerful but not so intense that it makes it functionality difficult. Set up was also easy. it’s my first bagless vacuum I was weary about emptying a canister creating a dusty mess but I really like how simple efficient it is to remove empty the canister. The hose even stretches the length of the steps which is key when you don’t have to drag the whole vacuum up every few steps to reach. Cord length is even good, I’m able to do our entire bottom level with only switching outlets once. The only way I could see an improvement here would be if it were possible to have a retractable cord but we can’t have it all. I’ve had the vacuum a week now am a fan, so far.

I absolutly LOVE this vacuume! Like many people I searched for the vacuum I wanted by reviewing multiple stores and reviews. It might sound silly but a vacuum is kind of like an investment especially if you like to clean and use it all the time for multiple things. This Dyson does it all, and its stylish too! I can not believe how much stuff got pulled from my large area rugs, it almost looked like sand from the beach and I live in AZ no where near a beach! Needless to say I am very happy with the purchase and the price was amazing! I would 100% recommend this vac!

The only thing this vacuum has going for it is the suction. Which I thought was the most important but I found out quickly that it doesn't make for a good vacuum. The hose is a nuisance, hard to angle down due to the long tube inside the hose. The 2 attachments that come with are not what I would like, the tapered attachment has a brush on it so you can't even use it to get into tight places. The hose also cloggs very easily, 2 small snack wrappers clogged ours! It is supposed to switch from hose to ground by disengaging the upright locking mode, however the newest issue is it won't switch from the hose to the ground, no cloggs anywhere either. I'm not sure how a family of 7 is supposed to go without a vacuum, so I'm forced to buy another vacuum and it most definitely won't be Dyson.

I am Dyson manic I would say already have hair dryer other vacuum for wood floor and cooling humidifier. I got this vacuum for carpet use. so I got it. 1. It was very confused to assembled (my other Dyson vacuum didn’t even need to assemble so I expected the same thing with this vacuum) It took me for about half hour to figure it out.2. Great power for carpet but it is extremely heavy and really really loud. If you are living in an apartment I wouldn’t recommend this vacuum your neighbors going to hate you.3. I Love the Dyson Ball Vacuum Cleaners! I bought my first one 6 or 7 years ago and it’s still as strong as it ever was. We decided to put in all new flooring in my 40 yr old house which meant chipping away at 40 yrs of carpet glue, cement leveling mud & construction debris. It caused a lot of dust and unbelievable mess. I decided to use my Dyson as a shop vac. It was great! It passed test after test and sucked up dust and concrete chips alike. I figured we would have to replace it when we finished the project but the darn thing is still going strong. With all new carpet and flooring I decided to get a new one just because I’m OCD. I am very impressed with how well this vacuum performs. I have a long haired cat, and vacuum almost daily to clean up hair. Before using this, I did a full house pass with my Shark and followed up with the Dyson and was shocked by how much my old vacuum wasn’t picking up. I don’t use the attachments as I prefer a dyson handheld cordless for stairs. My main dislike with this model is the plastic is flimsy and I wouldn’t be surprised if this breaks in a year. For the cost, I’d expect some better materials and construction. Putting it together was sketchy given how cheap the plastic is and I was worried I’d broken it. We will see how it holds up.
I am a vacuuming freak so my vacuums are worked hard!!!! This is my second Dyson. First lasted over 20yrs. I did however follow all of Dyson’s cleaning and filter changing recommendations. I’ve only had this new one for a month(so it’s been used multiple times already) so far it’s excellent. My only complaint is when using the hose with attachments the vacuum itself falls over. I never had that problem with my old Dyson. So that’s the reason for my 4 star rating. If this one last me another 20yrs it’s well worth the$$$$

Over-all, well worth what I paid and I'm really hoping it lives a long time! I'm not sure I'd pay full price for a replacement, but I'd certainly pay the sale price again!
