ECCO Mens MX GTX Shoes Black/Black

Really comfortable trainers with a good sole that grips in all weathers, really robust. However Ecco have a problem with their riveting machine that meant the rivets on both the shores I ordered were incorrectly put in and failed the second time that I wore them. Ecco refused to acknowledge that this was a manufacturing issue and so I can recommend the shoes but beware the manufacturer.

Very comfortable shoes for long walks with the dog, and of course waterproofed! If I had a gripe it would be the sole that catches dirt easily and brings it home, and personally I would prefer if they had a zipper rather than laces, but that's my personal preference, e.g. I had Ecco Zipflex shoes before and they were super comfortable and easy to put on and off, and the sole was better designed and did not catch dirt so much.

Excellent quality product which combines the comfort of regular trainers with the robustness of a walking shoe along with being waterproof.I already owned a black pair so I knew how comfortable and practical they were. I bought one blue pair and one brown pair on this occasion.Good for every day use or going for longer walks when you don't want to wear a full walking boot. Ideal for a day out wandering around a city for example, or a city break as you know you are wearing something which is comfortable yet sturdy and will keep your feet dry if it rains or snows!

I had a chance to try 3 pairs of this model. Each size 43. They fit perfactly, look very good, are comfortable, but each pair generated annoying noise during walking. And the more I walked the louder was the sound. It was like silent shots that flip-flops or slipers are doing. Very annoying in quiet areas like offices, school etc. I gave up on trying to find quiet pair and had to return them to Ecco.

One of the best walking shoes I've bought recently. Very comfortable for my daily 6km walks in all types of weather. Well cushioned which is important for me, will buy them again as these will be my go to shoes from now on. In the past I have bought shoes that were uncomfortable after a few kilometres but not these ones. These are keepers!!!The fact that they are Goretex and waterproof is an added bonus because the weather here in Ireland can be guaranteed to sunny. More wet days that dry days unfortunatelyI give them top marks

Ecco GTX

Have only been using these for two weeks and they are without doubt the most comfortable shoes I have had in a long time. I have a few heel issues and whilst wearing these it is nowhere near the problem it has been. I have no issues in recommending these shoes to anyone looking for a change for the better.

I wear these every day for walking the dog . This is my third pair . The goretex is pretty good for the first 12 months or so . Even with mud-caking and age they still do a reasonable job of keeping my feet dry .I have a pretty normal mid-shaped foot but got plantar fasciitis two year's ago because of a different pair of shoes that allowed too much flexibility and a hip problem . I went to various outdoor shops but could not find anything suitbale but these shoes helped me out of plantar fasciitis ( with my ongoing physio exercises) and I have worn them since .

Great Walking Shoe

This is my second pair. Wore the first pair (Black) for 15 months almost every day. Used them for hiking January-March 2023 and from then until May 2024 for comfort and stability after a broken arm from fall on ice in March 2023. Ordered a second pair in Grape color because of comfort on hard floors and long walks on various surfaces. I even talked my husband into getting a black pair. Happy that these shoes are Gore Tex as this is a big bonus when hiking and walking anywhere!

Bought these for my brother. He loves them says they are so Comfortable!I had to hide his old ones! He just didn’t want to part with them even though they were wore out! True to size! Like the colorSomething different! Highly recommend these shoes!

So comfortable and supportive.

I wanted a water proof and comfortable walking shoe that still looked reasonably fashionable. I have suffered from foot issues for awhile and normally have to replace the inner soles of any shoes with inserts for increased arch support but these have the best support of any shoe I have bought. Numerous reviews say these are like walking on clouds and I have to agree. Hopefully they hold up with use be they look extremely well made. Very happy with the purchase.
