ECCO Mens MX GTX Shoes Black/Black

Really comfortable trainers with a good sole that grips in all weathers, really robust. However Ecco have a problem with their riveting machine that meant the rivets on both the shores I ordered were incorrectly put in and failed the second time that I wore them. Ecco refused to acknowledge that this was a manufacturing issue and so I can recommend the shoes but beware the manufacturer.

They were definitely not wide EE fit as advertised. In fact I would say they are narrower than my old ECCO boots which were not wide fit, it hurt my foot just trying to put it in the shoe. I have sent them back, absolutely gutted as I know how comfy ECCO can be :( they were dispatched and arrived quickly though.

They look in real much better then the pictures can show. I had the competitive very well known brand outdoor shoes before and they broke after 7 month of utilizing in city only. These are a little bit more expensive (as per the regular price), but look, comfort, first experience are not comparable as per my overview in favor of ECCO obviously. If they will turn out to be durable in the end I’ll be very very satisfied!

Very comfortable shoes for long walks with the dog, and of course waterproofed! If I had a gripe it would be the sole that catches dirt easily and brings it home, and personally I would prefer if they had a zipper rather than laces, but that's my personal preference, e.g. I had Ecco Zipflex shoes before and they were super comfortable and easy to put on and off, and the sole was better designed and did not catch dirt so much.

One of the best walking shoes I've bought recently. Very comfortable for my daily 6km walks in all types of weather. Well cushioned which is important for me, will buy them again as these will be my go to shoes from now on. In the past I have bought shoes that were uncomfortable after a few kilometres but not these ones. These are keepers!!!The fact that they are Goretex and waterproof is an added bonus because the weather here in Ireland can be guaranteed to sunny. More wet days that dry days unfortunatelyI give them top marks

I’ve been an Ecco buyer for years. These shoes rate as the most uncomfortable Ecco’s to date. The cushioned sole does not give a good walking experience. I persevered in the hope that I would get used to them but alas no success. Had they not been worn outside they would have been returned.

I wear these every day for walking the dog . This is my third pair . The goretex is pretty good for the first 12 months or so . Even with mud-caking and age they still do a reasonable job of keeping my feet dry .I have a pretty normal mid-shaped foot but got plantar fasciitis two year's ago because of a different pair of shoes that allowed too much flexibility and a hip problem . I went to various outdoor shops but could not find anything suitbale but these shoes helped me out of plantar fasciitis ( with my ongoing physio exercises) and I have worn them since .

Kind of disappointing. I’ve owned a lot of Ecco shoes and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. The Ecco quality isn’t there and the shoe runs narrow and small. It is a cheaper price point for Ecco so maybe that’s why. No choice but to return these.
