I bought an eero 6 mesh router system about a year ago that came with 3 routers. The only router that is hard wired to the modem is the gateway that I placed on the lower level. The other two are on the upper level and connect to the wired gateway router wirelessly.The internet was spotty on one end of the house so I added this new eero 6 wirelessly to my existing system and put it on the lower level and it solved my spotty internet. Set up on my existing eero app was a breeze and I was up and running in no time.

It’s fast when you are connected but coverage could be much better. Having 2 ports is nice, and it’s better used as an extender than a primary router.
