This is a great addition to the EGO blower. I think it should have been included with the blower, but well worth it, especially when it is on sale.
Is a great extension to the leaf blower. Gives a little more wind power without having to increase the battery power.
The attachment works as one might expect - concentrating the air flow for better control and faster airflow. It attaches and removes easily with the clip. One wishes it was just included with the 530 blower to begin with.
I was disappointed that EGO does not include this attachment when you initially purchase the blower however after ordering it online through Home Depot and attaching it to the blower, I couldn’t believe how much more powerful it made in the blowing capability. I would not be without this attachment and strongly recommend if you have an EGO blower to purchaseit immediately.
This flat tip nozzle fits well to the hose. I was hoping that it would speed up the air flow out the nozzle, but it actually cuts down the air flow a little but still blows the leaves around ok. Its just better to have no other attachments on the blower to get the best air flow out of it.
Hose attachment is useful in channelizing the air flow but reduced the flow so i need to use full power setting for same result i get with lower setting which for me doesn't make much sense to use this attachment.
I bought this for my Ego 530 CFM Leaf Blower, and it fits perfectly. It really helps in directing the air from the blower. I use my blower on my sidewalk and driveway after edging and without this attachment dirt gets blown all over my garage door, with the attachment I can focus the air more and prevent the dirt from being blown everywhere so I am happy with it.
Just what is needed for proper use of the 5300 series Ego leaf blower. Ego should have included it with the leaf blower package instead of offering it as an accessory.
