Amazing machine. So impressed. I read reviews and was recommended to get this machine by my washing machine repairman, which I think says it all. The 10kg capacity has been a game changer for me as my old machine was much smaller. It fits in the same spot as my old machine and everything comes out soooo clean. I can't believe I put up with my old machine for so long. Thanks Electrolux.

I’ve always washed in cold water and generally used a short cycle. I’m disappointed that the faster 60 minute cycle doesn’t allow for using cold water. I alsoseem to be unable to reduce the wash cycle time of the cotton or mixed cycles. These seem to take an inordinate length of time. Setting a cycle to finish at 8am actually finished at 6:30. While the cycles Dona good job of cleaning clothes for the reasons above I’m left wishing I’d chosen differenly.

We bought this as a Christmas present to me so about 7.5 months ago to replace another brand front loader which had been killing clothes since the day we got it. The electrolux is amazing, gentle on clothes, I don’t have to put my t shirts in bags anymore, excellent everyday wash cycle, things come out clean. I mostly use the everyday, the delicates and the quick 15 min wash-does everything we need. I love it!

Our old Samsung front loader died in May 2020 - an awkward time for electricals shopping! Managed to find an Electrolux Ultimate Care 800 10Kg front loader at a good price. I was looking for an 8Kg to fit in a small laundry, but was delighted that this 10kg version was small on the outside, big on the inside and would fit - finally I could wash my winter blankets at home! The machine washes well, can be interrupted when you find that extra sock you dropped in the hallway, and gets clothes pretty dry on a spin cycle that does sound a little like Elon Musk's space rocket. But a couple of minutes of noise isnt a biggie when I have a super wash in 1 hour for a full load. I was able to program my own cycles to a favourites choice which I love! Notwithstanding, we still put all of our washing in regardless of the recommended weight limit and the results are still outstanding.The other issue I have discovered may or may not be as a result of design or function, is that not all of the powdered detergent gets washed into the machine when filling at the start of a program. There is usually a crust of detergent left after the initial fill but it is gone by the end of the program. It’s possible it is getting washed into the machine during the rinse cycle.And finally, don’t make you purchasing decision based on the wifi capability of the machine as the Electrolux app is not up to scratch yet as it does not raise alerts unless the app is running and on the screen. IE it doesn’t raise an alert in the iOS (for IPhone) to indicate the program has ended. Additionally when the machine is set to ‘remote’ enabling the app to configure the program, remote has to be deselected on the machine to be able to unlock the door. The app needs enhancing to make better use of the wifi capability of the machine.Apart from these small issues, the machine has excellent fit and finish, appears to be mad with quality materials and produces and excellent result.
I purchased about two months ago. It’s an amazing washing machine. I love that I can select different water temps, length of cycles, spin speed etc for most cycles.I use the daily 60 mostly. I also love that I can add in clothes if I’ve forgotten them (only at the first few minutes of the cycle). Have used this feature many times!The spin cycle of the washing machine is a little noisy, but I just close the laundry door and it’s no issue. Great energy and water rating.

It has a range of cycles but only mainly use the Daily 60 cycle occasionally use a few of the other cycles like Delicates, wool or mixed cycles. The Quick 15 cycle is best left for new clothes or clothes that just need a freshen up as it only washes for 3 mins that`s all so if your clothes are soiled / or dirty they won`t get washed enough (best to use another cycle for them) and only spins up to 800 rpm. It has up to 1400 rpm spin speed for the Daily 60, Cottons and Energy Saver cycles with a separate Spin only cycle up to 1400 rpm as well. Overall though it is great machine and does a great job and would recommend this washing machine.
I bought this few months ago and have been using it to wash tons of laundry on a daily basis. We are a family of six and the amount of clothes the kids go through are endless daily. The coverall that I use for my work are also filled with dirt/grime at the end of the day. The machine just churn through these clothes with no issue whatsoever.Would certainly recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for a machine that is reliable and able to accept the large load of clothes.

So far the machine has been great and is washing far better than the 7 yr old Samsung it replaced.The cycles we mostly use are the 15min for quick rinse/wash, the 60 min cycle is a great all purpose wash and we have used the Bedding and Cotton cycle. Some cycles are quite lengthy but I am not sure if we will use some of the cycles as often as the 15 and 60 min cycles. This washing machine is fantastic! I couldn’t be happier! My 17 year old top loader finally died, I bought another machine (without researching it) and it was awful. Good Guys allowed me to swap it for this, and I’m THRILLED!!! While it has longer cycles than a top loader, it adjusts the time for smaller loads. It’s super intuitive to use - for example, to change the spin speed, you press on ‘Spin’ - so sensible! It was easy to install, not too heavy for my husband and 11year old son, spins quietly, has a cute, gentle tone when the cycle is done, and... wait for it... it washes excellently!!! I was very happy with my Fisher and Paykel top loader, but this is even better! Thanks Electrolux - washing is easy again! xo
