I have purchased this vacuum 3 times now as I really like it. I hate corded vacuums and this one is great to quickly clean the busy house floors. I love the extra features - the animal head for the couch, the long stick brush is fantastic for dusting skirting boards and crevices to. This one lasts longer than my previous one 4yrs ago which I just broke so needed to repurchase again. Great vacuum, much better than any other stick vacuum.

This vacuum cleaner is so light and easy to operate. My husband has ms and has not been able to vacuum for years because of old style cleaner but since purchasing this, he has been able to. I find recharging and not having a cord floating around behind makes the vacuum cleaning experience easier and more efficient. There are attachments for all the hard to get to areas. It kept cutting out the first time I used and I realised it was blocked, so it was a matter off pulling apart and unblocking.

Not happy with changes in this model. The extension tube for hand piece is so narrow it constantly gets blocked and is extremely hard to remove blockage. The handheld unit itself also gets blocked due to new spiral design where it sucks in waste. And the spiral blocks with waste before the holding chamber is even full. Planing on returning it when have time. Earlier models were much better.

I purchased the above vacuum cleaner in January on the recommendation of the Harvey Norman sales executive, based on my circumstances. I have a family with two pets. I purchased the vacuum as its advertised as being able to handle human and pet hair. Unfortunately, it does neither, it doesn't even pick up the dust from the floorboards, just pushes it into the corners, which the regular head doesn't reach. I have persevered for a few months thinking my expectations were perhaps too high after having a Dyson, but this stick vacuum just doesn't deliver what it advertises. I do still need a vacuum cleaner, so would be happy to exchange for a higher spec'd model, and cover the increased cost. But this product is just a waste of my time.
I had to return 2 of these. The reviews were right. It overheats and switches off after 5 minutes of use. I got the Q9 as well. These reviews were also right, it had no suction. Your staff were extremely rude saying I was the problem and I had returned the vacuums dirty. The manager said I should have pulled the machine apart and cleaned it properly, even though I had explained that I had the vacuum for 3 weeks and only used it for around 45 minutes in total. He suggested I was a dirty person in a dirty house. Even though I told him about the online reviews he said I was the problem and threatened to kick me out of the store because I had become frustrated with him and the 3 vacuums I had to return. Discussing!
This is an outstanding little vacuum cleaner it is very light and maneuverable with a compact size and good suction . It is however not intended to clean an entire house , it is more of a " quick tidy up " for a few rooms that may not be too messy . Run time is 15-20 min. And the only real downfall is that the dirt chamber is miniscule and needs to be emptied out for nearly every room done . The filters in the dirt chamber need to be cleaned out after a few rooms are done if this is not done then the vacuum starts to loose suction ! I just blow them out with compressed air from time too time !
This is a great little machine! It looks great (fantastic colour); I love how the weight rests on the floor, not in your hand like Dysons and other stick vacs; very easy to assemble and pull apart into the handheld function; IT STANDS ON ITS OWN so you don't constantly have to lie it on the floor or prop it up; the run time is enough to do floors of a small apartment as well as ceilings/corners; little lights are handy when vacuuming corners. My one issue is that even on full power mode, the suction isn't the strongest. It's good enough for keeping the place tidy but you don't get the sense that it's drawing out every little thing. But for the price, it's good!
Great vac, with the hand-held able to be detached. Suction is perfect for rugs and hard floors (have not tested on thick carpet or shagpile rugs). Easy to empty. Seems to hold its charge even if you turn off the charging cable. Two attachments (upholstery and crevice tool) are very effective, though the crevice tool does get easily clogged with hairballs (i.e. the long hair of humans, not creatures) thanks to the brushy bit on the end of it. But easy to manage. The swivel head makes it easy to get around.
I've been disappointed by sick vacuums in the past (including from very reputable brands), but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Can stand to charge without worrying about wall mounts or anything. Battery is fine for doing my small house in one go. And I love the removable "dustbuster" part - it is stronger than similar detachables and great for doing small areas or the car. I have a cat and a dog and it keeps on top of their fur.My only complaint would be the small size of the dust hold, but you get that in all sticks.

We had done our research and the previous Electrolux vacuums had had such good reviews and we needed a good one as I suffer from asthma. This vacuum cleaner however has been a real disappointment. We have two cats and I have long hair. which it is supposed to handle, yet it struggles to pick up either. It constantly leaves clumps of matter on the carpet and doesn't maintain suction as advertised. You can vacuum and the carpets and floors still don't look clean. Also, the headlights on the front of the unit don't consistently stay on and just flicker.
