I was given this carrier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The carrier is made of very soft and durable material. It is highly customizable allowing for a snug and comfortable fit for the wearer. While this is awesome, my husband and I are of quite different statures so it was rather cumbersome to hand the carrier off between the 2 of us. We instead often adjusted the carrier for one person and that was the person dedicated to wearing the baby until we had enough time to allow the other person to adjust it to their needs. One of the best features is the intuitive color-coded height alignment which allows you to adjust the carrier to fit your baby. As my infant gets older he constantly wants to look at what is happening around him and I was not able to allow that as much with this carrier. On the plus side, this carrier is rated for a much higher carrying weight, so it will be useful longer.

The first thing I noticed about the Adapt SoftTouch Cotton Baby Carrier is how soft and supple the material is! It's so buttery! I also love how easy they made adjusting the size of the carrier for my child by color coding where exactly to put the velcro flaps, genius! This carrier is so well thought through. From the straps having built in elastic bands to hold the excess to the built in sun cover for babies head that folds away neatly into its own pocket. This carrier is really a one and done product! Now the real test was seeing if my taller than average 2 year old would like it. I was easily able to get her in the back position following the recommended method and she settled in faster than expected. My only suggestion (and this is being picky) is that I wish they made their instructions into a booklet instead of an oversized folded poster sized paper. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this carrier in exchange for my honest review.

Another awesome feature is the neck support you can drop it down for when he is strong or keep it up to make sure his neck is protected. We love going on walks, hanging out in the backyard or going to a cookout in our carrier! My baby has fallen asleep almost every time we go on walks because he is so comfortable in this! You have to try this carrier and you will not be disappointed.

The Adapt SoftFlex Carrier is breathable, lightweight, and extremely comfortable! I have a two year old who fits well in the carrier and was easy to carry in each of the three positions. I loved that you could quickly adjust the seat height with velcro on the inside of the carrier depending on the height of the child. One option I would have loved would be a front-outward carry since my two year old loves to look around and see what is going on while we walk. However, the front-inward, hip, and back carry options provided enough variety to work in any situation. Living in an area with extremely humid and hot summers, breathability is a must. This carrier exceeded my expectations on breathability. It is something that I could see myself wearing for an extended period of time, even during the warmest summer months. This carrier is not only comfortable, but easy to put on and adjust. The included instructions were easy to understand. I have previously watched a video on how to wear a structured carrier, but I felt like even someone with no experience could easily understand the instructions provided. It was easy to put on by myself and did not require the help of another person to connect the straps or tighten them. One of my favorite features was how supportive this carrier feels. The back support distributes the weight extremely well and I feel like I could carry my 25 pound toddler for as long as I need too, even while pregnant. It also had the option for crossed straps on your back while front carrying, which felt more supportive as well. I also love how easy it is to adjust the settings from those for a toddler to those for a newborn when our new baby arrives. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carrier.
I am a mommy of 4 and have baby wore my last 3 babies. Ergo is my tried and true brand for baby wearing, not only are they affordable but they are comfortable. This goes for the Ergo Adapt softTouch Cotton baby carriers. This carrier is soft for both me and baby. Itās nicely padded and easily adjustable to fit the body. I tried this carrier on my hip, back and front carry. Back and front are my favorites. I love how easy it is to use and I am in love with the back support! There are a couple of downsides that Iāve experienced. The first is the buckle on the back support, when in the front carrying position it is a bit difficult to buckle it around your waist. The second is while back carrying it is a struggle to get comfortable around the bust line. If you have any sort of chest carrying on your back will require squishing the girls. Overall I love this carrier and will add it to my staples. I want to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting me this baby carrier.
The Adapt Soft Touch Cotton Baby Carrier from Ergobaby gives you your hands back. Sometimes a parents itās hard to get things done around the house when your baby wants to held. This carrier is great because I can wear it around the house and get some of my work done with still holding my baby girl. She will even fall asleep within a few minutes of being in it. So that is a win in my book. Not only have I worn this around the house to get some chores done I have also taken walks and even done some yard work with her in. She fits ālike a glove.ā She doesnāt get sweaty. The air really flows nicely through this to keep her comfortable. With having her in this carrier it gives her a chance to work on her neck muscles a little more than laying down in her stroller or carrier.Another plus about this carrier is how soft it is. It also doesnāt make any sounds when moving around. The color option is great, itās a nice light color that will not make her over heat in the sun. Plus itās a great color that you can use no matter the gender of your baby. I have found that this one fits better and really feels part of your body more than other carriers. I had one with my first child and it was just really big and hard to wear. This carrier gives you a lot of great support. I like the padded lumbar support waist belt. It gives me that extra padding since I had a C-section. Plus I can move it up and down to really make it comfortable. The shoulder straps also have extra padding as well. I would suggest taking it easy wearing this after a C-section just to make sure that you donāt pull anything or put strain on your stomach too soon. Not only does this feel nice and soft, as a parent being able to clean something is important. This is really easy to clean up. We had a couple of spit ups in it, and found cleaning it was easy and it looks brand new again.Another great feature is the cover that you can pull out of the top to cover your baby from the sun or even to just hid when they are sleeping. Itās a nice way to give them a little more privacy, and itās easy to pull out and put back with baby in the carrier.I do like how the carrier is color coded to show you which positions it needs to be in depending on your baby weight. This is a great touch because it makes it easy for you to know what to do without looking for the manual. The velcro really is strong and stays in place which makes me feel better knowing that my baby is safe.Another great feature of the Adapt Soft Touch Cotton is that it is easy to put on and take off yourself. The only issue I had was trying to tighten up the back lumbar support. After a few tries I was able to get it, but it was easier to have someone help me with that. Also my husband who is 6 ā1 and about 270 has worn this carrier as well. He found it really easy to put on and off by himself. Along with being able to adjust it from my fit to his. He has always been afraid of carries because he wasnāt sure how they worked. With this one, we have fought over who gets to wear it when we go out, or need to get things done in or outside the house with her.I am really excited with this carrier because it will grow with my child. We are able to use it with her as a newborn all the way up to hear in her toddler years or at least till she is 45lbs. An added bonus is that I donāt have to purchase any extras to make that happen. Thank you to Stellar Testing Panel for letting me test this out in return for my honest review.
I was given this carrier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but my review is based off my own true personal opinion. This carrier was great! The straps make it very easy to self adjust and make the carrier tighter/looser from multiple ends (up top on shoulders, middle of waist, and bottom of waist). I didnāt need any help with putting it on/adjusting. Additionally, my husband tried it and he stated it was quite easy to put on quickly and adjust without any help. The cotton material felt very soft to the touch and breathable for my little ones. I feel like it also made the carrier feel lighter than traditional advanced carriers. I tried this carrier with both my 3 and 1.5 year olds and they seemed overall comfortable in it. They also didnāt seem to overly sweat while in it, which is great! The lower strap around the lower back (lumbar) made it feel very comfortable for me especially as I suffer from lower back pain. Iād say that was easily my favorite feature of this carrier as it helps to distribute my kiddos weight so my back isnāt aching after wearing it for a long time. I also enjoyed the fact that that it came with a baby hood for sun protection for my little one! I also love that it can be used from birth to toddlerhood and is easy to swap positioning (front facing to back wearing). Itās well worth the investment as you can use it for 4 years almost!
The Ergobaby Adapt SoftFlex Mesh Baby Carrier is a great option for parents on the go! My little one is 15 months old but still loves being held, so this has been a major life saver. When my back needs a rest, I just strap her in and continue with my chores (hands free makes it so easy to hold her and vacuum). She has always been in the higher percentile range so I love that this carrier can hold up to 45 pounds. The mesh fabric is actually much softer than I anticipated so weāre both comfortable wearing it for good portions of the day. To be honest, the surprising softness of the mesh fabric is actually my favorite part of this carrier! We have tried hip carry and back carry positions as well, but my daughter isnāt a huge fan. One thing to keep in mind is that this model does not offer frontward carry position. Not a deal breaker for us, but definitely something to note. For anyone trying out a new carry position, I would highly recommend watching the Ergobaby instructional videos as they are so much easier to follow than the paper instructions. I was almost about to give up on trying the hip carry position, but the video made it way easier! I appreciate that they offer so many resources to help parents use this carrier. Overall, I would highly recommend the Ergobaby Adapt SoftFlex Mesh Baby for any on the go parent whose back needs a rest. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carrier!
I was so excited when I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. I have never owned an Ergobaby carrier before but I have always wanted one. I received the Adapt SoftFlex Mesh Baby Carrier in the color āSlate Blueā and my first thought when pulling it out of the box was that it was absolutely beautiful! The fabric felt high quality, although it seemed a bit rough to the touch compared to other soft structured carriers I have tried. I assumed it was a trade off for the breathability and strength of the mesh. At the time I received this carrier, I was 23 weeks pregnant with my third child so I was unable to test the front carry position. I assumed it was a trade off for the breathability and strength of the mesh. At the time I received this carrier, I was 23 weeks pregnant with my third child so I was unable to test the front carry position. My first two kids are 16 months and 2.5 years old both weighing about 26 pounds. After reading through the manual, I adjusted the carrier settings to test in the hip carry and back carry positions. Before putting my children in, the carrier felt comfortable. The lumbar support fabric sits on your hips or stomach when using these positions and it fit under my baby belly quite well. I have had two c-sections and it did not irritate my incision at all. Unfortunately, I tried putting my children in the carrier multiple times - first with my 2.5 year old, then my 16 month old - and they both absolutely hated it. As I stated before, the fabric is not as soft as some other structured carriers that I have used in the past. I usually use a mirror when putting my kids in baby carriers, and Iām thinking that they found it uncomfortable because they could not sit easily in the appropriate spot. It may have been too tight even on the loosest setting, or not enough seat padding due to the mesh fabric. I really wanted to love this carrier, but as much as I wanted it to work, my children did not like it at all. I couldnāt even get them to sit still long enough to snap a photo safely. I even had someone help me place them in the back carry position so I didnāt have to rotate them around and they still tried to climb out almost instantly. We have structured back carriers that they usually love being in, but unfortunately they just did not like the Adapt SoftFlex Mesh Carrier. This carrier is rated for newborns as well weighing at least 7 pounds so I will try it again with our baby when he arrives and is able to fit. Fortunately, I am happy that I wonāt have to buy any special inserts for the newborn front carry position. Iām hoping for a better experience for baby and myself when the time comes.
Thank you to the Stellar Panel for sending me the Adapt SoftFlex Mesh Baby Carrier to review! I am a mom of 3 kids (10 y/o, 6 y/o, and 16 months), an aunt, and have babysat for many other children as well. I have used many types and brands of carriers over the years including ring slings, soft structured carriers, wraps, etc and definitely have owned some favorites and some that I haven't much cared for. This carrier is definitely in my top 3 of favorite carriers that I've owned! Let's talk about aesthetics first...it's a really soft, denim blue color and while blue is not normally a color I would have chosen to purchase for myself, I actually think it is really cute for my little guy and not a shade of bIue that I mind wearing at all. The mesh fabric is attractive and functional. I tested this carrier in the late summer and it seems breathable, yet adequately supportive. I actually briefly, just around the house, tested this carrier with my 6 y/o who is right under the weight limit for the carrier, just because he thought it was funny that he would still fit and he was reasonably supported. My 16 month old (almost 30lbs) was worn in front, side and back carry and all positions were easy to adjust and very comfortable for both him and I. The lumbar support pad is a great feature and a must have for me in any carrier I purchase. The manual is very user friendly and thorough. I would absolutely reccomend this carrier to anyone shopping for a carrier for infants or toddlers! I actually plan to take it with me on vacation instead of my usual favorite carrier, so hopefully I can update my review after extended use in different situations as well!
