Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara

I liked that this essence cosmetics mascara made my lashes look longer because my lashes are very short and it is hard to find a affordable mascara. As soon as I got the package I used it and it was a game changer. I would definitely recommend this product if you want long and non chunky natural lashes. Before I got this mascara I wanted to test if it was non chunky actually lifts my lashes a little and it actually did which made me very excited.

The first time i'm using a mascara from essence. The is oke. It is said that the mascara gives extreme volume and is ultra black. I do agree that the mascara is black, but not as black as I thought it would be. The mascara doesn't give me extreme volume. It rather gives a little volume which creats a "natural" look. The brush coats the lashes from start to end, doesn't give me clumbs and lasts all day. Not my favorite but a oke mascara for the price. Retails for under the €3,- euro. Beside the mascara i'm wearing in the color Vogue. This is a light pink gloss that is not sticky, feels hydrating and lasts for a few hours. After something to eat or drink you have to apply the gloss again. This is literally the best mascara I’ve ever used. I have tried a countless amount of mascaras and this one not only gives my lashes length but it makes them look thicker. I usually only use one coat and it does the job! As you can see in the photo my lashes look very long and healthy. I highly recommend!

I am a fan of natural looking eyelashes and do not like crazy voluminous eyelashes unless in the evening. This mascara works perfect for me as an everyday mascara when I'm not wearing a lot of makeup. It separates my lashes and gives it a bit of length and volume without clumping it.The brush is plastic and easy to use. The formula is thin when you open new one but I feel it thickened over a period of time which made it heavy for my liking. But it still is one of my everyday favourite.I only use it on my upper eyelashes and it has not smudged ever. I usually get smudges when I wear it on my lower eyelashes so would advise not to use it.This is not a water proof mascara, so ladies do not wear it on rainy days or during swimming. This is probably one of the best mascaras you’ve never heard of. Essence makes some of the best mascaras, drug store or high end. My lashes end up long and thick with just 2 coats. It doesn’t flake or run during the day and it’s easy to remove. My eyes POP when I’m wearing this mascara and best of all, it’s usually about $6!!! No need to spend $20-$25 on mascara when you can get this baby that blows them all away!! Highly recommended! #mascara #review

Cheap Mascara

The positive I liked the full wand. Negatives: cheap mascara, you have to do layers only to have clumps, my eyelashes fell straight down and lost the curl. All though it's waterproof it still has fall out. Not for me. You get what you pay for. Easy to remove.

Flaky and uncomfortable

I have used this mascara about 5 or 6 times over the span of about 2 weeks and its just not for me. I always try to be optimistic but its hard to see how this is rated over 4 stars. It flakes continuously and gets in my eyes after the first 5 minutes of wear & up until I take it off at night. This has made for unattractive photos. I thought that once the formula dried a little the mascara would be more wearable. Sadly, not the case. The wand is HUGE, but not in a good way; unless you like messy application. I've tried this with one coat and tried with two, neither do me any justice. Right now I'm wearing this and there is also a noticeable weight to my lashes. Gave this two stars instead of one because it has a very black opacity and added significant volume. Returning to Ulta as a trade for the Essence Lash Princess in the black and green tube. Also, why in the world does this product not come in some sort of packaging, other than slapping a bar code on the tube?? Seriously - no form of quality control if someone decided to be malicious in the store and contaminate the product!!!

It's Ok. Still better than other mascaras.

This mascara is ok. I have tried others in this brand, and while they are all better than most everything else out there due to price and performance (with the exception of Better Than Sex mascara), they still don't hold a candle to the old Essence Lashes of the Day formula. That was THE BEST mascara in the history of lashes. Period. Even better than Better Than Sex. And the price is fantastic. I will continue trying out all the other Essence formulas, but PLEASE bring back Lashes of the Day.

Just okay

I purchased this one and the princes volume and curl from the same brand. I loved the princess one so much. This one was heavy, thick, clumpy. If I wipe as much product off the want as possible I would use this in a pinch however I will never be without the princess one now so I don't have to worry about keeping this as a fall back. Washed off easy, did not flake, just very thick and heavy feeling and looking.

My holy-grail mascara for years

I use this product to make my lashes look a lot fuller than they actually are. I don't necessarily have sparse or short lashes, but these make my lashes look extremely long and volumized. I get frequent compliments on my lashes due to this mascara! I've recommended this to my sister and many others, due to it's great performance and awesome price point, and everybody that has tried it LOVED it; it became their holy grail mascara as well. You can actually see the fibers in the mascara when you open up a fresh one and personally, it works even better when it's slightly dried out because it's less liquid-y. However, the con to this product is that it dries out sooo quickly so I feel like I go through a lot of tubes often.
