Estée Lauder Futurist Skintint Serum w/ Botanical Oil Infusion SPF 20 - Dawn

I've been trying out the Estee Lauder Futurist SkinTint Serum Foundation for a few weeks now and I'm pretty impressed with it. It is a lightweight but not watery consistency that blends out beautifully with both a brush and a beauty blender. I like that you can apply a little and get a sheer, light coverage, but you can also build it to a medium coverage without it looking heavy or cakey. I would say that it gives a natural to slightly radiant finish, but it's not luminous. It covers my few areas of redness and blemishes but my skin isn't being hidden. I have not had any issues with it pilling or balling, no oxidation either. It has worked well with my skincare and other makeup. The only reason that I am not giving it the full 5 stars is due to its fragrance. I am in my mid-40s and tend to go make up free to work every day where I work as a preschool teacher. It's the coverage, in that it's light coverage but definitely still evens out the overall skin tone and visibly does something for coverage, but I still feel confident saying that it stays in the light coverage range. Color match is also very flexible because of this as well. I wouldn't say it's a dewy finish, but maybe more of a soft matte without looking flat. If packing isn't really your thing, you don't necessarily need this, but this has definitely made its way into my core everyday products.

I can definitely make it look nice but I feel like it's a little bit of a finicky product and for the price tag I feel like it shouldn't require quite that much effort. I'm not going to recommend against trying this because I do think it's possible to achieve a really pretty end result but that being said, I think that there are other options that require less work and are more affordable.

I was so excited to try this serum foundation. The formula itself looks and feels like pure silk. It is super lightweight and just glides on like budda! Living in Arizona I was very happy to find out that it was sweat- and humidity-resistant with up to eight hours of staying power for all-day color that won’t streak or crease. And im pleased to say that after wearing for a full 10hrs they honored their promise. It is fragrance free, but to me it does have a tiny "clean" scent to it. Nothing overwhelming and goes away as soon as it drys down or after a setting powder is applied. As faexas packaging goes im in love to say the least.
