I love Estée Lauder foundation so I am always willing to try other EL products. I did receive this free with a makeup purchase at EL so I was excited to try it. It is a good eyeliner. It is creamy and applies easily without tugging at the eye. The product is gorgeous as all EL products are. The pencil is easy to sharpen. The color is not super black and the formula does not stay on the eye. It starts to disappear throughout the day. And forget about the waterline, completely gone in less than hour. For the price, I would find another eyeliner.

THIS IS THE BEST LIP LINER YOU’LL EVER BUY. after years and years of spending tons of money trying to find the best lip liner, this is it. It stays on FOREVER. The texture is so easy to work with, you can over line your lips and no one will tell. The brown ones especially the one with shimmer it’s so beautiful. And the mauve one is such an amazing color, very pigmented, you can draw such a beautiful over lined cupid’s bow and because of the high pigment it totally covers the skin and you can fake a nice plump pout. Nothing compares to this. Please take care to not leave it uncovered as it gets dry and difficult to work with it. At first I thought it’s the product’s fault but actually it was mine.

She got that juicy juicy...(insert the rest of Doja Cat Juicy lyrics here, but instead of referring to a booty let's pretend she's talking about plump lips) Yes, juicy, plump lips! Lips that look kissable, biteable, enviable, all thanks to this Estee Lauder magic! This stuff is unreal and a go to of mine! Sure it's a little more pricey than I like to go, but oh so worth it! It has a liner pencil on one side and a lip brush on the other so you get the best of both worlds, with definition and an easy application! I also use the brush to help blend out other lip products I use! The formula goes on smooth, makes your lips soft and beautiful and lines to perfection! Well done EL!

(shade 18 Nude) hmm it's good but not as hype-worthy as I expected

This pencil is much loved on the internet as the best liner so I picked up shade 18 Nude as I mostly wear nude pink or peach lipstick. This is a neutral brown shade with a touch of pink so it's suitable to wear with many shades of lipstick. A full draw on the lips rather than just an outline of the lips it is a nice pinky-brown and I do very much like the colour and it would be flattering for many skin tones.It is a light plastic pencil which you must sharpen yourself and is made in Germany. I much prefer a retractable design. I removed one star for this reason.I removed another star because I found it's not as long lasting as everyone claims, for me personally it performs no better than my Ulta3 pencil in Honey Bun or the Rimmel 1000 Kisses in 049 Natural as these are dead on dupes for colour. So why pay $40 for a pencil that performs no better than $10 equivalents?It is a very smooth, creamy pencil though, it glides easily onto the lips and feels very comfortable to wear - but then so do the dupes. I guess the only extra is the brush on the end, but I have no use for it as I very rarely apply my lipstick with a brush nor do I use it to blend out the liner if I'm filling in the full lip. Kinda pointless accessory for me.

Bad Estee Lauder Lip Liner

This is not the same Estée Lauder from the 80’s and 90’s. It’s a cheap version with very little pigment and staying power. The cheap lip liners and the drug stores are much better than these. So sorry I wasted my money.

Beautiful lip color:)

I've been using Estée lauder's lip liners & I'm very satisfied with the colors. I love red/burgandy lips & I put on a few different layers to get the color that I want & I use the Estée Lauder lip liner to fill in my lips before applying my lipstick. The color stays on & lasts throughout the day & it makes your lips look fuller & bigger (I love full & big lips). So, I use it as a base color. I've been using "brick" & "Apple cordial", & the brick had more of a moist texture which I liked & the apple cordial is a bit more dry (I don't know why because it's the same product just a different color) but I love the shade so I'm sticking with it. Flawed Design

At 1st I loved this liner because it goes on creamy without tugging and it stays on for a long time, but the minute that it ran out and I had to sharpen it was when it was revealed what a terrible design this was. I can't imagine that it did well in their testing phase so I'm not sure how this ended up on the sales floor. I don't know how they can get away with charging what they do for this. I have 3 or 4 of these liners I bought many at the same time or before I had to sharen the 1st one otherwise I would have stopped buying them. You cannot sharpen them. The liner is very soft and the casing is plastic and very hard and sharp (hurts). Great product, limited colors

Like many of you, I've used this lip liner for years, and it's great. However, like so many other Estee Lauder products, the color I use -- fuschia -- has been discontinued. It was a vibrant, hot pink, and was perfect with all bright pink to magenta shades, which is what I wear. Now I'll be shopping other brands to find a match. This was the last remaining Estee Lauder makeup item I still purchased because everything else I loved was also discontinued. If this lip pencil comes in a shade that works for you, it's a great product. Really wondering why they discontinued a color that was so classic and versatile.

However you do have to sharpen this almost after every single time you use it. But if that's not a dealbreaker for you you will love it.

I can make a mistake and no one can see it! I can apply it without a mirror!!! Sold, and it has lived up to everything it said it was. Since this is completely new to me the first thing I do is press too hard and take the entire top point off. Be careful ladies, it has the consistency of semi-soft wax. I pulled out my eyeliner sharpener (I can't apply that either) and gently sharpened it, then shaped the tip by hand. I softly and lightly applied it. It works perfectly and lasts 8 hours for me, and yes that includes through lunch. I carry it with me always, just in case. I don't think it would last through a BBQ or any saucy meal.This clear lipliner is the best innovation ever! When I did tell one of my coworkers who does wear makeup she didn't know that they made it either. She was very excited about the lipliner. I think EL has a new customer!
