This is a beautiful, classic oriental fragrance. The warm spices and fruity Coca Cola notes remind me of rum and coke. It’s also extremely strong and long lasting. I put it on for the first time around 5 pm and I could still smell it when I woke up the next morning. The sillage of this perfume is also unmatched in most modern fragrances. This is a staple for any collector of vintage fragrances.

I just recently received this perfume as a surprise from my husband. My grandma passed away a few years ago and I recently made a post on Facebook asking my relatives what kind of perfume that my grandma used to wear. One of my relatives told me that this perfume was one of the ones that she would used to wear all the time. So one day, my husband surprised me with this perfume and the moment I smelled it, it took me a few times to smell it, but it is as I remembered it whenever I would visit my grandma growing up as a child. I really can’t give much of a description on how to describe the scent of this perfume. I know that this perfume is comes out a little strong at first, but the scent does last for a very long time. I only wear it when I am thinking of her.

I historically do not like perfume, on myself or others. I was visiting with my aunt and I said "You smell good". She told me her daughter, who is now 56 came home from school in 3rd grade and said "Mom my teacher wears Youth Dew. It is the best smell. You should buy some." So she did and now I did all these years later. I love it and it lasts.

First time buying this product, but have always loved its smell on others. My own tried and true perfume has lost its longevity - probably due to a reduction in oil content making the perfume less expensive to make. This perfume goes on very strong with a strong vanilla note, but quickly calms down into a complex, feminine perfume that lasts and lasts. The vanilla note disappears, strangely enough. Youth Dew is very old perfume with a name that seems incongruous with "complex and sexy," but Youth Dew is complex and sexy. If you spray it on a card, you will not get it. If you spray it on yourself, then do NOT spray on anything else and WAIT for at least an hour before you assess the fragrance.

I have used this perfume for 30+ years and Estee Lauder has decided to delete it. The clear bottles are like cologne....smell does not last long. This is real perfume! I am so glad to find it and be able to get a discount too!! I have saved every bottle that i have bought all of these years and the boxes!! (they stack better in the boxes!!) I have been wearing this fragrance all of my adult life. Ir is my signature. Recently a taxi driver said to me. 'You've ridden with me before, I recognize your perfume.' It is subtle but memorable Fragrance. Always in good taste and it only mellows on the skin. It does not get loud and strong.
The first time I experienced this fragrance I was in my twenties and had my first job. I made myself a promise I would save enough money to make this fragrance my own. When asked by others for a Christmas gift wish I would tell them to buy this perfume for me. That was more than 50 years ago and it is my signature fragrance. When my daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren smell this fragrance they are always reminded of me though they live far away. How wonderful to know they will always have those special memories when I am gone when the scent of Youth Dew stirs their hearts.
