I was waiting for a HomeKit camera for a while to add to my existing home. This was a big upgrade from my regular ip camera which had its limits specially while not at home or on the local WiFi. The installation of the Eve Cam was straight forward and was installed in less than 2 minutes. I have several HomeKit devices that I use with an Apple TV 4K and multiple users in this home. I love the features for home and away mode which can be configured individually and how the camera behaves. Turning off the camera while somebody is at home or turning on the camera while nobody is at home. The quality and live view while away from home works well. You can even record, but it will require iCloud storage. The bottom of the camera foot is magnetic so you can mount it fairly ... There are also options for automation triggering other HomeKit devices. The camera lights can be turned off so you can’t really tell by looking at it that it is actually on. Compared to my old cam which I had to use port forwarding on the router and access was very slow from outside the home, the HomeKit setup with this camera makes this hassle free and you don’t have to mess with the router settings at all. I am very satisfied with this purchase, the only thing that would have been great is an option to record on a local hard drive instead of iCloud which will cause some additional costs, of course only if you want to record footage.

Does not seem to work that well trying to refresh and keeps coming up with an error. Cheaper one I purchased for only $59 is way superior and much easier to use

Install continuously fails, reports that it’s already added, but it never shows in the eve or apple HomeKit app. Tried resetting multiple times, same result.
I absolutely love this camera. It was easy to set up on my iOS Home and Eve apps. We shall see how long it lasts. A M~
