I think the craftsmanship and quality of the gloves are excellent. However, my gloves do have a major defect! There is something wrong with the thumb area for the left glove. My left glove is unbearably painful to wear and train in.Initially, I thought that if I just wore the gloves without my wraps, I could just break in my gloves, create space, and the discomfort would just go away. Unfortunately, I had to remove my gloves several times during my last training session because I just couldn't take the pain. These are 18 oz gloves, and I don't have a problem fitting any other gloves 18 oz or less from other brands. This was a huge disappointment. Everything else about these gloves are perfect, but I also notice this is a reoccurring complaint. Everlast has other ... MoreI think the craftsmanship and quality of the gloves are excellent. I didn't see those same complaints for these gloves, but I guess I got a bad pair.

I tried on many styles in store. I enjoyed these the most because the wrist velcro's all the way around giving a better fit. I originally got the 14oz but exchanged for the 16oz so they fit more comfortably over my wraps. Great basic glove.

I've been boxing for about 7 years now and I've continued by now turning professional. This is my second year fighting professionally and I have gone through countless pairs of gloves in my years both from sparring and bag gloves. So far I can honestly say that the powerlock lace up training gloves have been one of my top favorite sparring gloves to date. I like them because they provide really good support and protection while sparring. The low profile of the gloves are great because I don't feel that they are too bulky or too big. I'm on my 3rd pair already. I really liked them, I am a featherweight so I wear 14 oz gloves for sparring. I liked the new gold and black or gold and white glove combo. I've owned them both already and found that the gold material for the black and gold gloves tend to chip away and isn't the greatest quality but hopefully they change that. I found that the material of the white and gold gloves seemed to work best since the gold part of the gloves didn't "chip" away after about a month of continuous weekly use. The gold material of the gloves did work pretty well on the white and gold gloves but after almost 2 months the gold color did begin to fade away though. The quality of the padding of the gloves is really great and offers great protection aside from the gold paint issues.

Product was fine. Unfortunately the pack I picked up only had one glove. As I am partially blind I did not pick this up. Was also not picked up by the checkout. The notice stating the other glove was on display was folded and stuffed inside the pack out of sight.Required a second visit to the store.
Pretty good!I was surprised with how it feels. The padding is just the right amount of density to get really good “pop” and feedback on bags/mitts.I got the 14oz Black/grey/white laced up. Laces are pretty long. Once the glove breaks in, it’s pretty comfortable.Hard to beat this type of padding/protection at this price honestly.
I'm really disappointed with my Everlast gloves... They're been sewn so poorly that, right after my 2nd training thread started gettin ripped. I believed in quality of brand Everlast, but in the end it got me deeply disappointed,I had to ask my friend who's in the US to order them and then send'em to me to Europe, coz they're here unavailable, so I had to pay expensive post taxes. It isnt worth its cost
I have been teaching kickboxing with bags for over 2 years.. Most of The class time is spent directly hitting the bag. I have used other Everlast products that I have enjoyed but this is the 1st time that I have used a heavier mitt because the the ones in the store are usually 14 or 16 oz. I am under a 120 pounds pounds and 4'11" tall, so they were way too big. Imagine my joy when I started researching and found these in a10 oz. size! I have been using these 3 classes a week for several weeks so far, and I am still becoming accustomed to the extra weight (previously I only used fingerless gloves) but I have loved working directly sharing a bag with my students without my knuckles becoming raw. I have been using these 3 classes a week for several weeks so far, and I am still becoming accustomed to the extra weight (previously I only used fingerless gloves) but I have loved working directly sharing a bag with my students without my knuckles becoming raw. I have been wearing an off brand gel wrap which prevents the gloves from wiggling and collects some of the sweat. It also creates enough space that I can still wear my fitness watch higher up on my wrist under my gloves. These gloves provide solid wrist support, even without the wraps. They feel incredible, and I'm having so much fun with them!
I own several kinds of Everlast gloves, the Everlast Elite pro fight gloves allow you to make the best fist of any glove I've ever tried on. I use my Everlast MX training gloves in 18 0z for heavy bag work, I even used Everlast powerlock pro fight gloves and loved them, but these powerlock training gloves are not good. They feel cheap, my left hand fits extremely snug and I dont even have wraps on. The right glove is a little better but also snug. These gloves are made by machine in India, the Everlast gloves you want are made by hand in Mexico!
Loved them, I had bought the hook & loop powerlock 2s & LOVED how they feel on my hands. Powerlock do what is on their name, I feel like these gloves allow me to hit with absolute power. These are my 6th pair of gloves ( I've had a different brand each time) but my 1st time with the powerlocks & these feel like they give me the most protection to my hands & good wrist support (the laced gloves offer even MORE wrist support). I don't see myself leaving these gloves any time soon.
Got these in 14oz and use them as my everyday gloves. Mix of pad work, bag work and some occasional light sparring. I'm a small guy with small wrists so the wrist strap system is a LIFESAVER. Keeps your wrists straight and secure. Good mix of feedback and protection in the padding. Def my all time favorite gloves.
