Not bad value for the price. I've had other amino powdered energy drinks that do better as a pre workout. This isn't a bad all rounder if you just need a pick me up in the middle of the day. I've been using this brand almost exclusively for two months, I've never gotten jittery or had a caffeine crash. Although I do monitor my caffeine intake closely. The taste isn't bad, I think if you've had other amino energy drinks and like them, you'll like this. I don't think it's for everyone, some people I've let try it say it has a chemical taste, but they've said that about all the powdered energy drinks I've tried. As for the packaging. The scoop doesn't fit all that well until some of the powder has been used. Does it really need to be that long?

Great Quality for the price

The product tastes great, it goes very well with cold water. And the effect is better than expected. It works excellently as a pre-workout. It's perfect for endurance training sessions. I use this blend during my preparation for ultra-trail running, and so far it copes excellently with my workload. I also add glutamine to my drink for better recovery.There is also a long spoon in the jar that doesn't get lost inside and is easy to retrieve before consumption.

There are a few things to get out at first,You can drink three servings a day. We will take 2-3 scoops throughout the day or when we may be getting a little sluggish. This is not something for *working out* though it could be used in that way! After a month of using this nearly every day, it seems to be the best addition to our lifestyle. We are very active and have been needing something other than coffee in our day. We start with this after some water in the morning. Around noon we will have coffee and around 3 another scoop of this. If we need we will then take a third but this isn't needed most days.

Makes more dehydrated

I have been drinking this consistently for a week(17oz with 1 scoop). And noticed I am more energetic directly after taking it. Side effects how ever, are making you pee a lot and making you even more dehydrated. I was wondering why every time I drink a whole 17 oz water bottle with just 1 scoop added, I would start craving more actual regular water (without the powder). Well turns out as you can see from photos, there is sodium aka salt added to this mix, which makes you MORE dehydrated. So if your drinking this I recommend having another bottle of pure water with you. Also, a little annoyed by the barcode sticker being put right over directions on how to take this and who shouldn't be taken this. I tried to rip off but as you could see in pics.. it was a pain.

Noticeable energy, focus and hydration.

Just like the original BCAA energy, the BCAA Energy + Electrolytes has a good amount of caffeine to feel the rush and focus when I go running without any jitters. If I drank my green tea(50mg caffeine) that morning, then I only take 1 scoop and I feel the effects just fine. On the hydration/electrolyte aspect, I’ve noticed less muscle cramps after I go on my 4mile runs than when I used the original product. I’m going to try and skip my green tea and take a full 2 scoop serving to test if my muscle cramps completely go away. Good product, flavor is good too, not overly sweet.

Tasty water supplement

I love BCAAs, keeps me drinking water and gives me nutrients, I'm a vegan so I like to overload with BCAAS when possible. The ingredients mix with water great. I use it as part of my diet and workouts. Absolute benefits to fitness, recovery and endurance. The taste is great. The quality is one of the better BCAA products. The only complaint I have ever had is the packaging. Years ago, the switched to a package this size, when it used to be smaller, because most of that container is empty when you open it.

Was not energizing at all

We have been using a different brand, but purchased this for its lower price. Unfortunately, it did not perform - we did not feel any energizing factor or boost from using this product, which is the main benefit we were looking for. We were so tired for the two weeks we used this product in lieu of the other. So, so tired. Additionally, the taste is fine, but there is a slight aftertaste that competitor brands don't have. We threw out the rest of the container and won't be buying again.
