Exploding Kittens (2 Player Edition)

My son and I played this game together and it was really easy to learn. The instructions provided were very clear and concise. You essentially are trying not to get the exploding kitten because that ends the game unless you have cards that will defuse the situation. While you are playing, you are trying not to pick up the exploding kitten. You are also trying to get your opponents defuse card do they have a better chance at picking up the exploding kitten and ending the game. After one game you can pick up some strategy techniques. This will definitely be traveling with me!

I must say this game is funny and a blast to play. I can see why so many people like it. We love it and would give the game five stars except for two issues. The first is that it is simply a card game. However, honestly that wouldn't bother me as much if not for the second issue. The production quality of the cards are low. Most of the regular decks of cards I've played lasted longer than these. Within a few games we were seeing wear on the cards that took some of the mystery out of what was in another players hands. Especially if you can memorize things like that. Now after about 15 games every card is marked by wear on the edges in some manner. With kids being hard on games as it is these cards aren't built for rowdy or hard playing. I would encourage the game ... MoreI must say this game is funny and a blast to play. To achieve that, the other cards offer different strategies like skipping a turn, seeing the future (peeking at the upcoming cards in the deck), blocking the opponents move with a NOPE card, making your opponent pick multiple cards and two ways to take cards from their hand.
