The Feather Artist Club Professional blades may well be the sharpest razor blades on the planet. I use them in the new generation of single edge razors (Mongoose, Cobra, General, Hawk, etc.) and easily get a dozen great shaves from each blade. Buying in quantity directly from Japan results in significant savings.

I get about 3-4 shaves per blade before I start to notice it tugging a bit and it's time to switch it out. I own many different Dovo, Thiers issard and Boker straight razors that cost much more money than The Feather artist club razor but the feather is the one I use the most, it kicks ass!!

This has become my favorite, artist club blade. Are used to like the Shick P30. But it doesn't seem to be real consistent. The feather artist club pro is fantastic. Very sharp. And quite consistent.
I've used one of these for 3 shaves now. I find the feather double edge blades dull quite quickly. These however seem to last much longer, which is a big plus due to their price per blade.

These blades are SHARP. Very sharp. Way sharper than any shave ready straight razor. But that's to be expected from Feather. Was a little too harsh fresh out of the box but running the blades just once through a piece of cork helps tame it down. Just once... you don't want to dull the blade too much. And the blades last. One blade lasted fifteen shaves before I decided to just chuck it. Mind you, I always dry the blade after every shave. If you think you have regular skin, I recommend this as a first blade for your Artist Club razors. Get the proguard only if you have sensitive skin.
Feather Artist Club Razors are the finest disposable blade razors, or shavettes, that you can buy, by a large margin, and the blades are the best disposable blades you can buy. Although a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. You can reuse these blades for many shaves. Depends how thick your hair grows but anybody should be able to get 5-15 shaves from a single blade. Not the economical choice of blade for a barber who must use a new blade each time, but if your barber does use one on you, thank them.
Goldie locks and the three bears...This one is just right! Price point is just a plus...I have sensitive skin and a thick stubble. This blade works perfect for me loaded in the Feather Artist Club SS for me and well in my RJB Japanese style razor.No need for me to try the pro guards or lights... If anything maybe i will try the super pros, if that.
