I started trying to use an ATT SE1 and SE2. I started with Feather Professional and Schick Proline blades, and found them to be far too sharp for the level of technique I had starting out in AC format.Long story short: I traded off the SE1 for an S2 which is a great razor. I held onto the SE2 because nobody seems to want it. It's a very aggressive razor in my experience.I decided to try guarded blades, and bought the Feather ProGuard from Fendrihan because the shipping is very fast inside Canada. After the second shave the blade settles down pretty well and gives a nice two-pass shave.I highly recommend these blades to anyone who's struggling to tame very sharp blades in fairly aggressive razors. They've opened up a door into a part of the shaving hobby I wanted to like.

These are a great blade as I am new to shaving with a shavette. I have been a wet shaver all my life and have transitioned from cartridge razors 😕 to single edge and double edge razors and now to a shavette. For me this blade has made the transition fairly easy. Still a steep learning curve. I highly recommend these blades. Whicked sharp but still a little protection. 😎🇨🇦

I am a regular user of Feather products both professionally and personally.Blade Glide works great as a pre-shave lubricant. So well in fact I can perform a complete shave with just Blade Glide. However I do recommend using Blade Glide as as a pre-shave spray paired with a nice soap lather. As a detangler Blade Glide smooths out knots and tangled hair and reduces tugging on beards during clipper use.Feather blades are very sharp and smooth. I use the Pro Guards with a folding handle Feather razor at work and the Feather DE blades and razor at home.Jatai does a good job filling orders and the free shipping for larger orders is economical.

I have been shaving with a feather artist club straight razor for 10+ years and had been a fan of the super professional blades. I read several reviews elsewhere of the pro guards which were described as training wheels for the feather straights. These are far from training blades. They are the smoothest shaving of all I have used; professional, and super professional. I purchased these and a feather Japanese style razor and they are the perfect combination. I used the Japanese style razor with the pro guard blade for the first shaving pass then the conventional with a super professional for clean up. Clean up was absolutely unnecessary. You won't be disappointed with these.
Like many seeking a 'straight razor' experience I decided to try the Feather Artist holder and these blades. It was a transcendental shaving experience. These blades are sharp but equally well crafted to really make it hard to nick or cut yourself unless you are careless. It was, and remains, by far the smoothest, closest, most enjoyable shave of any safety razor, straight razor, or shavette shave I have ever done.As mentioned in other reviews, only a light and confident touch is needed (you can always make another pass. You cannot un-cut yourself...). The blades are sharp and smooth. I opine they can be considered long lasting. You can certainly use them for 7-10 shaves or more. They are that sharp that 'duller' is still pretty sharp. That said, my preference ... MoreLike many seeking a 'straight razor' experience I decided to try the Feather Artist holder and these blades. It was a transcendental shaving experience. These blades are sharp but equally well crafted to really make it hard to nick or cut yourself unless you are careless. These blades are absolutely worth the price over time. While I do rotate between this and a safety razor this is my preferred shaver/blade, even while traveling. It takes up very little space and is light. The pealed dispenser is also a blade bank. So another plus for that.
Excellent shave with the protection.Such a great idea.Excellent advice on what to buy.Thank you
These blades are exceptional. It is my first experience with the Japanese straight razor. I am experienced with double sided Solingen old fashioned since more than fifty years. This new way of shaving was a very pleasant experience to me. It takes time and concentration. My only comment is on the razor itself because the value does not match the quality of this razor.
My favourite blades for the Claymore! Having tried the Softguard and Professional, these provided the perfect balance between the two. The guards give you the protection needed for sensitive skin but they are sharp enough to provide you with a close shave in fewer passes. Last about 8 shaves so are pretty cost efficient as well!
As someone who is a moderate groomer who has been through a couple of straights to maintain a neat beard, the Feather Club Pro SScannot be recommended highly enough as far as I'm concerned. The disposable blades remain sharp through many uses, I'm still on my first one after about 5 shaves and it still cuts through my hair like a hot knife through butter. I upgraded to this from a Dovo Shavette that uses DE blades and while it was good, it didn't offer the level of control I wanted from a razor. First it didn't give me access to the top of the blade so it was difficult to do a delicate ATG pass under my nose, with this Feather SS it was a cinch to use. It's nicely weighted in the hand, has a very useful bump to guide your blade to the correct angle and if you buy a ... MoreAs someone who is a moderate groomer who has been through a couple of straights to maintain a neat beard, the Feather Club Pro SScannot be recommended highly enough as far as I'm concerned. Can't recommend this highly enough.
Very good blades, I bought them to use with the Claymore single edge. Efficient but not too harsh. I get around 8 good shaves per blade so they work out at a reasonable price.
