We're very picky about both design (look) and taste with our coffee. We keep our coffee gear on an open shelf in our kitchen, and these really look beautiful and feel great in your hand. I also do think the shape is ideal for the taste experience - I love the feel of a thin lip. That said, they make me nervous! I didn't think I was overly attached to the durability of a ceramic mug until I noticed how anxious I am every time these are in use in our home. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet, but the clean up nicely when hand-washed. We spilled one on the counter and it didn't scratch or break, so my anxiety is not based on anything we've actually experienced - just a feeling. That said, if you rarely spill (don't have kids or dogs around like we do!), or just have better tolerance for delicate things, these are beautiful and will give you a great coffee taste experience.

I give it 2 stars because they are initially very pretty glasses, until you actually use them. The very first time I put coffee into this glass, it created condensation between the walls that is impossible to dry out. Since then it has only gotten worse and they are no longer the prettiest thing to look at. They warn against the dishwasher for this reason, but you can't even use it without this problem occurring.

I really love the idea of these glasses. But the glass is a bit thin and can break easy. Also, one of my glasses has water between the two walls. I don't know how that happened, but it creates condensation and makes the glass less clear. It doesn't effect the functionality, but just doesn't make the glass as nice.

It does as advertised but like others have mentioned there's a hole at the bottom that's used to blow the glass into shape that just looks ugly. Also if you get unlucky like me the hole won't be sealed up and liquids will drip in between the 2 glass layers which could potentially led to mold or mildew. The top part thats supposed to go into your mouth is quite fragile, ended up breaking mine with a spoon by accident after stirring up some coffee. It's quite expensive for what it is, but it does look nice and I felt fancy using it while it lasted.I couldn't get a replacement for the cup that had the liquid drippage inside since too much time had passed since my wife originally bought it for me (she bought it early and then gave it as a Christmas gift) even though ... MoreIt does as advertised but like others have mentioned there's a hole at the bottom that's used to blow the glass into shape that just looks ugly. They told me it has something to do with the glue they use to seal that hole at the bottom.
Hi, the fellow Stagg Tasting Glasses are very good at maintaining the temperature whether it's hot or cold, I haven't had the opportunity to use the special component to make coffee pour over (It's a separate purchase) I like the aesthetics and comfort to drinkin these glasses. Just have to be careful with the mouthpiece or upper edge since these are a bit fragile (I already accidentally broke one and had to buy another pair)
Once again another stellar product from Fellow. The lip makes it so seamless to sip without spilling or dribbling any coffee or tea on yourself. I love how the double wall keeps the inside hot & the outside touchable, and the overall chic look of being able to see your coffee or tea. Also because there aren’t handles it stores in my cabinet much easier
I love to drink my coffee (black and bitter like my heart) from these glasses, as you may know since this is the third purchase.Their flaring lip make all the difference. They are very strong and bear well under my Aeropress, but a couple so far suffered while washed. Getting clumsy in my old age. The only minor criticism the diameter could be slightly wider to better fit your Prism on the bottom of my Aeropress. I will try not to break any more but, if I do, I will be in touch. Coffee in any other vessel wouldn't be the same.I cannot send a photo as I have no camera, or mobile phone (they don't work in outback Australia..ThanksGerry
Very pleased with the glasses, they are bigger than expected. The description says they hold 10 oz. but that’s not fluid ounces but weight I think. I was able to get clarification on that, but I’m sure that’s the case. They keep coffee hot since they are double walled. I wouldn’t use them in my shop but for home use they are great.
I didn’t buy into the double wall hype…but It actually works! Haha. It’s nice to have my coffee stay a decent temperature for a while. I don’t know if I’ve noticed a taste difference in my coffee, but they look nice on the table. The construction feels sturdy, but they are slightly different heights, I noticed the other day. One cup is a little bit shorter than the other..doesn’t effect The product function at all! I should stress that. But, it could be very annoying to those of us who are very detail oriented…which I’m willing to bet those buying these glasses will be.
I bought the glasses and matching decanter. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I notice a huge difference (good and bad) in detecting and separating nuanced notes, drinking out of the Fellow Stagg taster glasses. Of course, aesthetic taste may vary on these - the double walled glasses and matching flask are reminiscent of something straight out of an old school chemistry class.Would I buy them again? You bet I would. The glasses and matching decanter see regular duty in my little home barista haven.
