Fitbit Inspire 2 Fitness Tracker (Black)

When my previous Inspire HR Fitbit gave up the ghost I did quite a lot of research looking into a replacement. I wanted something stylish, slim and discreet with a good range of functions. The obvious choice for me was the Inspire 2, epecially as it came with the bonus of a year's worth of Fitbit Premium which has proved to be more useful than I'd anticipated.I like the water lock feature and that it holds its charge for a good long time. The charger is also an improvement as it just doesn't rely on magnets alone,Why I haven't awarded 5* is because:1. After only a few months for some unknown reason the Fitbit froze. What it needed was a reboot but that involved a troubleshooting seach online. (N.B. Putting it on charge and holding the sides for 5 seconds produced an instant smiley face & normal service was instantly resumed.)2. The face is difficult to read in bright light. In spite of those two minor issues it's a good buy.

This product stopped working after having it for a year and 2 months. It was just over the 1 year warranty. The battery would drain from 100% to 0% in 7 hours and happen over night. I contacted their support team and all they did was send me a link to a generic article to change settings such as GPS and notifications. I had neither enabled in the first place and the Fitbit used to last about a week before I had to charge it. I looked online to trouble shoot and this is apparently a common issue. I tried to factory reset and nothing improved. I have been a fitbit member for over 5 years and upgraded to different trackers over time. Since I was past the warranty period they could not send a replacement and could only do a 35% discount. This is clearly a product defect ... MoreThis product stopped working after having it for a year and 2 months. It was just over the 1 year warranty. There are many fitness trackers to choose from. I could have gotten an Apple Watch with the money I have spent on their trackers over time. I will be making the switch since Fitbit support is lacking and product is subpar.

Purchased for my daughter's 11th birthday and she loves it. She had the "Ace" a few years ago and this feels like a big step up from that. I was a little worried it would be too big for a child's wrist but the strap has enough holes, and the screen is just about the perfect height for her.The battery life is great - several days/a week to a charge which has meant she can use it for sleep tracking too, which she has really taken to.Downsides:- The charger is proprietary and a little fiddly, but not a deal breaker in any way- The app requires iOS 14 or above, and as my daughter has a hand-me-down iPhone 6, she can't install it so we've synched it to an iPad which is fine- This is an adult FitBit so the app cannot be used with the parental features you get with ... MorePurchased for my daughter's 11th birthday and she loves it.
