This is my second pair - first pair i purchase the shoe size US 10.5. it is a bit tight. Therefore I chosen the US11.0 - Well it is kind of big . I wonder what is wrong. Well I will suggest if your feet is US10.5 - just get the US10.5 and not to choose an additional 0.5. Overall the shoe is very lasting. I used the last pair for at least 6000km ride. Its very reliable and durable. The condition I am cycling is any weather - may it be hot sunny day or a storm. It survived both- only the sole I have glue it back one. It lasted another 1000km. A good shoe to consider as it does not slip during wet days and keep your feet on the pedals - that is always for sure. Hope this pair last better- A great disappointment that Singapore does not carry this shoe by Adidas shop or ... MoreThis is my second pair - first pair i purchase the shoe size US 10.5. it is a bit tight. Awesome 👍.. First pair of MTN bike shoes, read heaps of reviews and took a chance.Took even more of a chance because pushy's had a clearance sale but no returns unless damaged.I really wanted to try them on first but the price was too good to let go.I have wide feet and reviews said these shoes work for wide feet.Went with my hiking shoes, US size 9 and the gamble paid off.Ever so slightly tight across my broad wide bit of my feet but they're new and they'll wear in.I ride road and gravel and I bike pack so I hope I get miles and miles from them. And the grip!!! The grip is amazing.

I was in the market for flat pedal shoes for awhile. Went to a couple big box stores to try on a few different pair. Thought the Freerider Pro was one of the better shoes. The in store price was like $160. So, of course, I naturally look online to compare prices. $90 from Cambria, with free shipping. Now, don't get me wrong. I will often spend my money at the local shop even when it cost a bit more money, but this was an extreme difference. I would certainly shop with them again.I wear a size 10 and sometimes prefer a wider profile. These FiveTen's in a size 10 fit great!I have not been able to use them as much as I'd like, but the first few rides look promising.

These are night and day compared to my old vans. I have a very wide foot for reference and went true to size. That fit perfectly, but as far as length they tend to run a half size large. We did walk around in them for a while one day and they ached a bit, but that was most likely cause it was our first day in them. For all things biking these are incredible. I’m not a fan of clip ins, but these are the next best thing!I tried the canvas version first and ended up returned them, definitely go with the pros if you are on the fence.I
I needed a good pair of mountain bike shoes but did not want to go with clip ins. These are super comfortable and the sole is the perfect amount of sticky to make me feel very secure on the pedals. More stiff than a regular hiking or running shoe, these are still really comfortable and secure if I'm having to walk parts of the trails and cute enough to wear for post biking beers :) Seem to be average width; I have a somewhat narrow foot but these still fit fine. I recently ended up on a trail with LOTS of rocky creek crossings and ended up having to wade through a couple times. They drained ok while biking and took about a day to dry completely out. When I've gotten them a little muddy, it was easy to just brush the dried mud off.
Came to these after previously running older freeriders for 4 years. By comparison these are a little less overbuilt with less toe protection - but still more than most brands and I appreciate the lower weight and slightly better pedal feel. The laces are an improvement too - more elastic and not so crazy long. Grip with pinned pedals is perfect - but they do run a little hot due to the plasticky materials in the upper. Overall still one of the best options for flats - if you can get them on sale it's a no brainier.
These came highly recommended and of course Five Ten has a very strong rep. Great looking shoe and seems well built, but of course it’s all about the sole—which delivered. They really stick to the pedals.Unfortunately, for me they’re just way too narrow. I wear medium/normal width in all my other shoes and am generally fine. But these are way too narrow, and combined with the otherwise-beneficial stiffness they’re too painful to keep. Serious bummer. The included insoles are also pretty laughable. Yeah, yeah, I get that it’s thin to enable a direct connection to the pedals or whatever but even if they weren’t painfully narrow, between the paper-thin insoles and stiff uppers it’d be a stretch to call these shoes “comfortable.” That’s not exactly the point of the ... MoreThese came highly recommended and of course Five Ten has a very strong rep. If not, probably not.
Fit and finish on the shoe looks fine, but it's simply too small to wear. Because of the stiff build and very rigid sole, this shoe is unforgiving of size errors. I wear men's 13D in most Allen-Edmonds shoes. ASICS sizing is off and I wear 14 there (and have even had to go with 15 recently). I bought 14 for the Freerider Pros. If I were just wearing them on the couch, they would fit...just. But add physical activity to the mix--with the likelihood of the foot sliding forward in mountain biking--and size 14 is a non-starter. Backcountry doesn't carry the full Five Ten size range so I have to go elsewhere to find men's 15s...and pay return shipping cost for the privilege.
I have been riding five ten freerider shoes for about 6 years. They have never failed me, but I recently broke a toe from smashing into a trailside root. So when I saw the freeride pros with the added toe protection, I had to try them. Well, I have them 3 good rides, and the experience was terrifying! The sole is so stiff it doesn’t conform to the pedal at all. On one of my favorite rowdy descents, I spent the entire time thinking about foot placement and never feeling right. When things got real chunky, my feet actually started to slide forward on the pedals. I am back to my old freeriders and feeling great! Don’t know if this is a product of the higher model shoe offering a stiffer sole, or as most say, a problem with the new adidas brand. I got these while there were still cooler Spring temps outside. Now that it's warmer, I ride the Five Ten Trail Cross with the much more breathable mesh upper. These have Stealth rubber, which is the best imo: super grippy and durable. They have a nice, wide toe box, so no cramped feeling there. The padding is comfy and really protects your feet. The soles are more stiff and they have a lower profile vs. the regular Freeriders, The regular Freeriders are too flexible for me- they are more like Vans. These Pro Primeblues give you better pedal power due to the stiffer soles. Don't get me wrong, they still flex, just not as much as the regular Freeriders. They look good, and are easy to walk in.
