This unit has everything in the box needed to set it all up in minutes. The unit is very robust although the mounts are plastic so care must be taken to not overtighten things. 64 Bit software was also an issue but one that was very easily solved, a quick search online found the 64 bit driver, same as the Saito version ( it could even be a rebadged unit ) installed and operated first time with no messy configuration needed. You do need to configure the controls for your flight Sim ( I use X-Plane 11.50 ) and a few of the default options were changed to make reaching and switching them easier. Really helped with my flight sim, was able to make proper analogue movement. However, the build quality was a bit cheap, noticeably light weight and plastic feeling. This yoke doesnt have any force feedback or vibration either, so just seemed a bit expensive for what I was getting. Great budget option if you want to get into flight sims though

This is my friends yoke and throttle and I must say I am amazed at how easy it is to set up, takes about 30 seconds, and at the quality for such a low price. He has reduced the price from a brand new one by about a third, and it still works amazingly. I would highly recommend and definitely great value and a great purchase. I also strongly believe that under the right care it could continue to work amazingly for another decade at least. The yoke feels very realistic and firm, and there are no faults with the throttle or the yoke. I would also take in to account the validity of the product overall from multiple reliable sources.

However, I bought it with the hope of using it in X-Plane 11 for a much more realistic sim experience (I've taken some flying lessons IRL, so I know what realistic feels like). The slight additional torque coming from using only one hand just makes the stiction even worse. Then on top of this, if your trim has your pitch angle near the central deadzone range, you need to compensate by constantly jumping the deadzone using larger than natural movements. Installing drivers and tweaking settings are to no avail. There are physical fixes for these through mods and board replacement, but there are better (and pricier) yokes out there that are supposed to be much better performing; so this one's going back in the hopes that one that proves to be better actually exists. In the meantime, its back to the HOTAS.
