Excellent camera - I've fell in love with photography again!

Also, it's great that a few of the buttons are customisable. Interchanging between lenses is pretty slick.Shooting modes - there are a lot of preset shooting modes to utilise in certain situations for the not so experienced photographer, I especially like the light trail feature and the Fujifilm filter range, which is a really nice touch and reconnects the old analogue past to the present technology. The mechanical shutter is nice and slick, great range of speeds and focal ranges so you can capture in almost all light levels, it's great also to have a digital shutter for the situations when higher shutter speeds are needed.Kit lenses:15-45mm is nice, it offers a good option for landscapes and portraits, although not the sharpest and I will look to upgrade this lens.50-230mm is really lightweight and offers a great level of sharpness, really impressive for a "budget" lens - definitely one worth including in your arsenal of lenses.

I love that its black. The ones released in USA n Canada are silver n dark silver. Black color was a later release. Photos are equal contrast with or without flash. I have to open flash with my Panasonic to increase contrast. JPEG files are big. I have to reduce them when putting on InDesign or else, the program is buggy. Highly recommended. Photos are good.

Good beginner camera.

Mixed bag - but nothing horribly bad. I will be comparing to my X-E2S for comparison. Both the X-E2S and the XT-200 are tack sharp, though one is a 16 mp, and the other a 124 mp. Color is great in both cameras, so there is no discernible difference between the sensors. Where the X-T200 excels is auto-focus. Much, much better. Getting eye focus is easy. The hand grip is superior, so no need to get aftermarket parts to find something to hang onto. Back screen is very sharp and bright.Things I don't like: the placement of review pic button. It's on the upper left now, which means your finger will cross the eye sensor, and throw everything off. Also I miss my +/- 3 dial. Build quality is suspect. Good camera, AWFUL WEBCAM

I got this camera to do photography, tutorial videos, and live-streaming. It's incredible for photos and and good for videos but the webcam mode is TERRIBLE.It doesn't matter what settings you choose, the moment the camera plugs into the computer, its throws all Autofocus preset out the window and the autofocus on the camera decides to go absolutely berserk. The slightest on camera movement causes AF to lose it. After 3-5 seconds of spazzing from the background to the foreground, it'll grab on again. and this is for slight slight moments with plenty of lighting. I've spent hours on the phone with fuji help and they recommend me just reaching out to adorama to return it. unfortunately I'm just past the month window. If you're looking for a "do everything" little ... MoreI got this camera to do photography, tutorial videos, and live-streaming. Not expecting a fix there.

Great Camera!!!

So, I got the camera, and decided to wait a month before I reviewed it.The pictures are sharp, the kit lens is great, and because it's so light, it's easy to carry anywhere. There are so many features built in to this camera, when you think of a creative shot, the camera won't hold you back.I recommend reading the owner’s manual a bunch of times, then use the camera for a bit, then read the owner’s manual a couple more times. The bag it came with is a bit silly. I use it, but it's really small (camera, and a stick of gum only). When I bought the camera, I also bought a used Meike 25mm lens, I keep this lens on, most of the time. With focus peaking, the manual prime lens is a joy to use.I get home later in the day, so I've been taking a lot of night shots. This is ... MoreSo, I got the camera, and decided to wait a month before I reviewed it.The pictures are sharp, the kit lens is great, and because it's so light, it's easy to carry anywhere. There are so many features built in to this camera, when you think of a creative shot, the camera won't hold you back.I recommend reading the owner’s manual a bunch of times, then use the camera for a bit, then read the owner’s manual a couple more times. The bag it came with is a bit silly. Great camera/webcam
11 November 2020

I'm a pretty unusual buyer here. I bought this because the webcam in my laptop died and no good webcams were available. My work laptop doesn't allow installation of unapproved software. This camera saved the day. You can connect it without any additional software and it works perfectly. Quality as you might expect is perfect. And you get a solid camera as a bonus. The only negative I've found is that you can't charge the battery and run the webcam at the same time. My understanding is that you can get a few hours of usage on a battery and that you can buy a battery and charger if you need more, or modify it with a cord that will provide AC power. I only occasionally need the webcam so that wasn't necessary for me.I have it mounted on a small, cheap tripod also ... MoreI'm a pretty unusual buyer here. Great value for an APS-C
3 November 2020

A great compact APS-C camera with excellent image quality especially for the sale price. 4K video from the full sensor is good, but I get an overheat warning about 8 min. into the 15 min. limit. There is in-body image stabilization and after I got a 35mm f/2, I realized the benefits of the faster aperture (but without IBIS) are negated by having to use a faster shutter speed to reduce blur. I can actually shoot at about 1 second with the kit lens, but 1/20 sec. is about the slowest I can go with a non-stabilized lens. IBIS in a camera is now an important thing for me.I usually use back-button focusing, but you can't assign AF-ON to a button, but you can use the touch screen when in manual focus mode to achieve the same ability. The 15-45mm lens is very sharp for a kit lens unlike the last kit I had from Sony. There are a ton of features I didn't cover, but you can look up some detailed reviews on that.Overall, you can results that are as good as any of the top APS-C cameras out there especially if you're an advanced user. I would highly recommend waiting for the (more expensive) Fuji X-S10 that has IBIS. Then you can use any lens more easily and if you prefer, an X-Trans sensor vs this one's standard Bayer sensor. It's also got a better grip, can be used more easily on a tripod and can record video for 30 min.Last bit, I compared the Fuji's 4K video quality vs the iPhone 12 Pro and Samsung S10e in low light and the Fuji easily won with its buttery smooth and clean video compared to the noisy splotchy mess of the iPhone 12 Pro and the slightly better, less processed looking S10e. On the phone screens, they looked fine, but viewed on a bit 4K HDR monitor the Fuji, like most current large sensor cameras, are still way ahead, at least in low light video.

It feels too cheap for 600-700$ product
8 June 2020

I bought this camera with a 100$ discount, but I'm still mad.I decided to upgrade from my Sony a6000 because Sony lens prices are getting ridiculous, so I sold my Sony and bought T200. First thing I noticed about T200 is a very cheap looking strip (photo attached), but I thought ok, I'll just buy another one, as this one is unusable (it is made from cheap leather-like material, very uncomfortable, way worse then what is included with Sony/Nikon cameras). But the body plastic quality is worse than I ever imagined.I've never used a product that would leave marks on my white table by just sitting on it. There are marks all over my table now (simple Ikea table, no complaints about it). Yes, I miss the GH4 I gave to my son. While the X-T200 is billed as entry level but simplicity was forgotten by the maker. It would only be half as frustrating to use if the buttons have fixed roles so over time you know exactly what each button does--instead they appear to have criss-crossed roles. It is impossible to navigate around the menu system when you are trying to compose a photo. Impossible to quickly change white balance or add back light compensation or change ISO.It does take dissent pictures with the point and shoot settings.
