I haven't used the knife as it was bought as a present. It would appear to be an excellent knife. The item arrived very quickly.

Bought East West knife to complement an older Furi knife set that did not contain it. Handle nice in hand as usual with Furi, 17cm length good for chopping leverage, heavy enough weight to cut through crusty things but still feels light, good balance for fine cutting use and preventing tiredness e.g. julienned veggies, but also puts the weight behind the cut. Width of blade greatlike a spatula for putting veggies into pan, scraps into bucket etc. Sharpens very easily with Furi system. Have been using Furi knives and full Furi sharpening system since 2008. Have had lots of other traditional knives & given them away. Furi is best and this knife is the best all-purpose Furi in my view.

What a difference it makes to be cutting with super-sharp high-quality knives. I was surprised at the weight of the chef's knife at first, but I soon got used to it. I bought a second set of these as a present for my brother.

I love this knife. So much. Perfectly weighted, sharp as anything, beautiful to look at. I can’t wait for Christmas or my next birthday so I can get an addition to the set.
Love this knife. I have different Furi knives and wouldn't buy anything else. Perfection.
I bought the santoku knife and the chefs knife and paring knife set to upgrade from my basic knife block. Don't know why I waited so long using the excuse that my old knives 'did the job'. Using the Furi knifes I've now realised my old knives made even basic jobs a chore.Lessen learnt - buy good quality knives! I'm no pro chef but I do love to cook and Furi's make prepping food a doddle. They're by no means the most expensive you can buy but for a keen home cook like me, they're perfect.
As usual the service was brilliant and I got the cook knife in time for a friend's birthday. It looked as though it will do the job and he was really pleased with it.
I芒鈧劉ve been wanting new knives for a few years and had heard a lot recently about this Aussie company. These are so sharp it芒鈧劉s scary. I filleted a fish for the first time in my life and it was like cutting into butter. These are a pleasure to own and feel so comfortable in the hand. I would recommend these to my chef friends in a heartbeat.
A great knife and addition to the stable, I use this for prepping food of all sorts from veges to dicing meat and cutting onions. It's a well balanced knife with a sure grip. It fits ergonomically and snugly in the hand making dicing and chopping too easy. Well worth the investment at its current price
I was recommended, I certainly wasn't disappointed!! Excellent products that were delivered promptly . The right amount of packaging to make sure items were safe, but not excessive. Good range of products will also be recommending myself.
