There are 2 things I would change if I could: add a release button on the head and a volume switch for the BEEPs. I don't think micrometer torque wrenches generally have a release pin on the socket head but it'd be great if this one did. It's not easy changing socket; it takes some effort to yank them off. But this is a minor complaint, not a deal-breaker. As to the BEEPS, they are loud, which is great when you reach your torque target but they sound on every button-press; when changing torque targets it's every tenth of a pound. I am very pleased to say that this Electronic Torque wrench is awesome! The ergonomics and the flex head are awesome. I really enjoyed testing this product and being able to adjust it to my liking. I tested this product on some lug nuts and continuously had an accurate reading. The target torque feature was great as well. The torque wrench will beep, flash red, and vibrate when you hit any of the torque measurements. The settings were not difficult setup as well. I do recommend reading the instructions first before making any adjustments to the torque wrench. The settings also allowed me to test by angle as well and it performed great and the same without using the angle. Also, the case is a great size and I can easily store it in my truck in any compartment.

This torque wrench is just simply amazing. Only had it for a couple months now. And I have used it many times weekly. I love the ease of use. And the accuracy. Easy to program the torque spec into it. I like the fact that it has audio and visual effects when specified torque spec is met. I also enjoy the fact that the handle vibrates. Overall truly an amazing tool. Gearwrench won me over a years ago and won’t buy anything else. Shout out Gearwrench for making amazing quality tools for an affordable price.
This torque wrench is very nice, very affordable, and very accurate. I accepted this product to help others that were trying to find more affordable yet accurate options in the world of electronic torque wrenches. I would not hesitate to use this in a professional shop setting and it gets two thumbs way, way up from me! The LCD screen will illuminate and there will be an audible beeping as you’re approaching your target torque value. It is also very user friendly and you’re able to learn how to use it within minutes of picking it up without reading the instructions. If you’re looking to be an efficient tech with quality tools that won’t break the bank, look no further!
I’m a bit old school when it comes to torque wrenches; I’m talking the metal analog type. So it was great when I got my hands on the 21st century. This wrench is great as I can alternate between multiple measurement types and see the exact lbs that I need to be at. Another feature I love is the head pivots. As you find out working on cars, nothing is ever placed where a straight tool can be used these days. The pivot gives me the right angle for the right torque specs. So far very happy with this product and look forward to getting a lot of use out of this tool in the future.
As most of us do, I have a pretty wide range of torque wrenches. Everything from screw driver style to 1/2" 250 ft-lb wrenches. This is right in the sweet spot of daily use. My standard 3/8" torque wrench is 10-80 ft-lb so this one having a little extra on the top end is appreciated.The wrench itself is easy to use and operate. Setting the torque is intuitive and doesn't require you to memorize pages of an instruction manual. I'm happy to add this to my arsenal. If there were one flaw to be found is that it feels a little on the cheesy side. The plastic overmold feels like it will be sticky soon and if this were to get dropped, well it might not end well.
This is my first electronic torque wrench, I'm used to just standard click type. After using this one I don't know if I will go back to the click style again. The torque wrench was great all around. I loved how you can see the torque value going up as you are applying torque and turns green when correct torque is applied. The torque angle feature is also great to have included with it. Instead of having to buy a separate tool to find the torque angle, this torque wrench does it for you! Very impressed by this wrench and I highly recommend it!
I can't say enough good things about this torque wrench. It's a compact size and the 100 ft/lb max is perfect for about 90% of all garage projects requiring a torque wrench. The flex head has just enough flex to get into tight spaces but not flop around like traditional flex heads do. The audible alarm lets you know when you've reached the desired torque as well as a change to the screen color. The display also let's you know what torque was reached for a brief time before the next attempt which is nice. It comes with a sturdy blow mold case which is great for travel or throwing in the toolbox without worry of breaking the display. I haven't gone through a set of batteries yet, but will probably install a set of lithium AA batteries to avoid any type of sulfation ... MoreI can't say enough good things about this torque wrench. Amazing torque wrench! I have other “tool truck” brand high dollar torque wrenches and this thing meets all Requirements! Great strong molded case. Backlit screen makes it easy to see in low light situations. Couldn’t believe it went up by .01 when changing torque. Blew my mind! Extremely easy to use after reading the instructions. Was beyond expectations for quality and price. Highly recommend it to any diy-er, professional technician, and your typical cool tool hoarder!
