I have had the wave wand since it came out. The curls were bit too loose for me and haven't used it for a while. My sister let me use this one and I was blown away (especially when we compared it to her dyson air wrap) The curls are amazing and rest into an amazing beach wave. They stay and gently loosen, not often the case with my hair. I've purchased my own within this set. The mat is useful, brush is ok with good old fashioned bristles and there is a random glove. With 20% off it's a steel!

I've used this curl wand a number of times for nights out, and even just for a day in the office. When curling my hair for a night out, it lasts overnight and through to the next day which is great! The curl wand is super easy to use and comes with a heat proof glove to protect your fingers when holding your hair in place. I have quite thick wirey hair, so I normally give my hair a quick straighten to smooth it out and then go over it again with the curl wand to get the desired finish. I have mostly always curled my hair with GHD straighteners which has always worked well for a tighter curl, but this wand gives me a nice wavy like curl that isnt too tight and looks quite natural.

In summary this is a great styling tool, but maybe a little practice is needed if you’re a bit of a novice like me!
I've used this curling wand 3 times now and I have to say, unless you're used to this kind of curler, or are naturally skilled at hair, it takes a while to get used to it. However, I love how the curls turn out, more waves than ringlets, and I've found they last a lot longer than any other tools I've used.I like how this curler leaves hair smooth, it seems to tame the flyway's very well and gives a sleek finish, especially since I haven't tried using any other products in my hair except heat protection.The only downfall I have found is that the handle seems to get very hot during use and I've caught myself several times on the heated end but I think the more used to it you get, the less this will happen.
A perfect gift for those who want curly hair. I have naturally ‘curly’ hair (2A/B/C) and this product created tight, bouncy curls (3A/B) that lasted all night long with minimal frizz! The curler is easy to use and helpfully comes with a glove to protect from burning and a heat mat to protect your surfaces/floors. For reference, I brushed my natural ‘curls’ out and applied GHD heat protection spray before curling and opted to use a wide-toothed comb after curling. Highly recommend to fellow wavy/curly haired girls.
Great wand! Ghd is always the best. It's not just about paying the brand but ghd truly offers excellent quality products that other devices can't. For example, the style lasts several days, the hair becomes shiny and looks healthy, soft to the touch. It keeps the heat stable over the entire length and is ready for use after a few seconds. This curling iron model offers the possibility of creating soft waves with a very natural effect. I am very satisfied with the purchase, especially after comparing the success of the styling with that made with other irons. To fix the fold in the best way I recommend the use of hair spray. The fold is done easily and in 10 Min total. I would honestly buy it back with my eyes closed.

The creative curl is one of a kind, I absolutely love it! Leaves the most beautiful, defined, natural curls I have had in my medium length, fine hair. Normally I wear my hair straight but this has converted me! The unique curling tong shape makes it so easy to create fantastic curls. I have been using for every night out and find that the curls last a couple of days especially when used with GHD curl spray. Love, love, love….I you are thinking of getting this set do it!! You won’t regret it, and the brush is fabulous too, GHD brushes are the best I would use nothing else.
